Delicious specialties from Hue, Vietnam! Our table shared a platter of bánh bèo (steamed rice cakes with shredded shrimp) for appetizers and ordered Vietnamese coffee (cà phê sữa đá) and salted coffee (cà phê muối) for beverages. Everything was delicious. The coffee was sweet, robust, and authentic. The salted coffee had a salted cold foam/whipped topping that offered a nice balance of sweetness. Probably the best I’ve ever had.
Our cousins who frequent this place love their Mì Quảng (yellow rice noodle dish). We also got their Bún Hến Huế, Bánh Canh Nam Phổ, Bột Chiên, and Cơm Gà (in order: clam vermicelli noodles, thick noodle soup with udon cut in smaller pieces, egg rice cakes, and fried chicken rice).
I really enjoyed their egg rice cakes and would recommend the food and drinks here; items you can’t get at other popular Viet restaurants. Enjoyed my experience and the staff was very kind and helpful! Ambience was very nice despite it being somewhat busy on a Sunday!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The flavors of the Central Vietnamese dishes were incredibly authentic — rich, savory, and full of depth. Every dish we tried was delicious.

We spotted Phu Xuan Restaurant across from the vietnamese grocery store and decided to stop by and give it a try. My mom ordered Mi Quang, while I went with Bun Bo Hue. The beef noodle soup was delicious and loaded with toppings. My mom really enjoyed her bowl as well. The service was great, and we’re definitely planning to come back to try some other dishes next time.

the best bun bo hue on the north side. this is a central Vietnamese restaurant and so has dishes you don’t often find at most Vietnamese places in Houston, which feature southern Vietnamese cuisine.

Delicious vietnamese food!! I had the Bun bo hue, and tried some Bun thit noung. The soup was very nice and rich, with yummy toppings and veggies. Vermicelli was surprisingly delicious plus the fish sauce! Very tasty at a really great price. I would like to come back and try some more!! 100% recommend, also has a cute atmosphere!

I had an incredible experience at this Vietnamese restaurant! The food is absolutely amazing, and you can tell that each dish is made with love and authenticity. The beef noodle soup is to die for – tender, flavorful, and so satisfying. If you’re a fan of rich broths, this is definitely a must-try. The Salt Foam Milk Coffee is another standout – it’s unlike anything I’ve ever had before. The perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness makes it an unforgettable drink.

Hands down for the best truly authentic Bun Bo Hue in town! The broth was clear and flavorful. Food came out pretty fast. The place is spacious enough for all sizes of parties. The staff were also nice.
Pricing is a little bit higher but food quality was decent enough for us to come back again.
