Incredible service, incredible food and a really wonderful atmosphere!

We visited as a group of 4 and ordered 9 Thai Tapas dishes between us. It was enough food (if we were to go again we would add some rice and some noodles maybe) and the price was really reasonable.

The quality of the food is really impressive for the price, it doesn’t taste like “takeaway” it’s fresh, not too salty and served with a smile!

We will be coming back here 100%

A lovely restaurant with a super range of dishes to choose from.

We were a group of 8 so we were given a private area to sit in and it was the best ever table I’ve come across for a group this size for dinner.

The food flavours were delicious and everyone enjoyed the dishes they’d chosen as well as tasting those others had chosen.

The staff were very lovely, light hearted, accommodating and easy going too.

A good place to go for a tasty meal out.

Lovely food and helpful staff. However the atmosphere is ruined by the feeling that we were in a takeaway rather than a restaurant. The constant opening and closing of the door by delivering:just eat/delivery drivers was unbearable. It was also a cold night and we were constantly asking these drivers to close the door over as several of them stood in the open doorway to collect the orders instead of coming in and closing the door. Not a pleasant experience which was disappointing as the food was really nice.
Eateries need to decide if they are a takeaway or a restaurant.

Went to Phranakhon Thai Tapas last night. The food was full of flavour, well cooked, great variety. The curried squid was a particular favourite. The tamarind dishes were perfectly balanced (not too sweet). The tempura batter was light and crispy. Lovely.

However, the service was very poor. Slow, inattentive. The waitress was particularly moody and disinterested. We wanted to order dessert but no-one attended to us for ages after we’d finished the meal. We had to get up three times from the table to ask for things like water, bill, dessert menu. By the time we’d asked to see the dessert menu the waitress told us the kitchen closed ten mins ago. V annoying.

It’s a shame because the decor was lovely and the food was some of the best Thai we’d had in Harrogate.

Wonderful, great value lunch here. Chicken Penang for under £9! It was very tasty. Friendly service and they allowed our dog in too. Recommended!

First visit and we were not disappointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. We pre-booked our table for my daughter’s birthday and the staff were wonderful at helping her celebrate with an ice cream dessert and candle. Food is freshly cooked and so flavoursome. Amazing choice of dishes, and we chose 2 plates each and shared. Each dish was absolutely delicious. A hidden gem in Harrogate and a must visit restaurant.

Came in early so no other tables; background music pleasurable and service speedy. Delicious food, though wish they had more prawn options on the Early Bird Set Menu.

Been several times before but won’t be going back. Did a 25-mile round trip to have a hopefully nice evening meal on Christmas Eve because two of the four of us have birthdays. Food was overall disappointing, value for money wasn’t great, but most of all because there were two dogs at the adjacent table. It’s a restaurant, not a cafe or a pub.

It’s been about a month now since we had our lovely dinner here at Phranakhon Thai Tapas but even though I can’t remember a damn thing about what I did yesterday, I can clearly remember my time at this charming restaurant.
Not gonna lie, at first I thought this place was closed. Don’t worry, it’s just the outside lighting and the fact I’m blinder than a deaf bat. Once inside we confirmed out booking and were quickly brought to our table upstairs.
And then we had the entire upstairs table to ourselves all night long. I don’t know if I give off my awkwardness in tangible waves that the waitstaff could feel, like vibrations in water, but we were alone and off in the corner and, frankly, I was ecstatic. Maybe it was because it was already half 8. Maybe it was because it was a Friday night in September.
Don’t know, don’t care. Had the upstairs to ourselves and it was glorious.
We ordered several tapas and it was all amazing. From the first bite all you could hear was “mmm” from us.
The staff were very attentive even when they had a full room downstairs and just us upstairs (oh and a separate room had a party going on but no one cares about that).
We never felt rushed and all the food came out when it was ready, everything piping hot and well seasoned.
Yeah, I nearly fainted when the bill came but we also ordered like a quarter of the menu so maybe don’t do that and you’ll be fine.
10/10 for me. I’d happily go back if I lived in Harrogate.
If you do live in Harrogate and have never been – what in the world are you waiting for? Go! You won’t regret it.
