Best food decision I’ve made in a long time. Not only is the Back Lot a cool place, but the food choices are top notch. The philly I had from Phoxy’s Phillies was perfect. I got a Cereal Killer shake because I love milkshakes and Fruity Pebbles…I now have to start making them at home.

As I was looking at the menu at the food truck in Back Lot a woman comes by and touches me on the shoulder and says “you have to get this!!” Well, her enthusiastic review was well warranted! Got the fried green beans cause they’re “something you can’t really get anywhere else” and the Phoxy sauce and it’s so good!!

If you’re in Northern Michigan, you gotta stop here. All of the food is amazing, but the Phoxys Philly is the best philly sandwich I’ve ever had!!! Great food, service, and a fun/family friendly place to eat 🙂 Thanks again!!

WOW GREAT FOOD! AMAZING AND VERY FRIENDLY STAFF!! The customer service made my meal even better then it was(which was very hard to do) I got a Philly cheesesteak with a milkshake and Curley fries, and it was the best Philly I’ve had in a very long time! I recommend getting your Philly with the curly fries and the berry milk shake. YOU WILL NOT be disappointed! I’ll definitely be going back there all summer!!

Had original Phillies in Philadelphia a few years back and these hands down are as close as you can get in the mid west. Have had “cheesesteaks” in Detroit area and you can’t even compare the two. Phoxy’s has found a niche in northern Michigan and should plan to stay. Not to mention the fried green beans and ”familiar” bowls are next level. The owner Andy , I think it was, was very professional and super welcoming. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Petoskey area.
