We were in the neighbourhood and had a late lunch at PhoXpress. The two of us ordered a steak brisket noodles (#12) and a southern Vietnamese noodles (#20). Meat was tender and noodles were soft and tasty. Very nice to have some hot soup options in the area. Server was very prompt and friendly as well. Will definitely come again!

PhoXpress Riverbend is one of our most favourite restaurants in Edmonton. Why? They have most delicious food, fantastic friendly service, and unparalleled cleanliness. This evening, we ordered some spring rolls, noodle soup with satay chicken, and vermicelli bowl with vegetables and lemon grass chicken. All three items are great in taste. The price is extremely reasonable. Many thanks to the chef and servers. We love to come back here.

I gave Pho Xpress a try a while back, after having been to other places in the area. The overall experience was less than impressive. The server only came twice – first to bring water and take my order and the second to bring the food. In terms of the pho: the meatball was good and a bit peppery, the steak was okay, the brisket was too chewy, chicken was too dry, noodles were okay and the soup was bland (I ate more than half the bowl of food with sauces). That being said, they did give quite a bit of food (meat) for the price…so I’d give them 5/10
