Where do I even begin with this new addition to Norwalk! The pho is amazing and the broth is delicious and flavorful. The cheese ragoons are so light and flakey and just so good. (My favorite thing on the menu) They also have a large selection of different boba drinks and lemonades. The atmosphere is so cute and welcoming and I look forward to eating here again!

I was so excited to hear that Pho/Asian style food was coming to Norwalk since my fiancé works there. We arrived around 4pm that’s when it re opens for the evening. First off the sign was not even on for the open sign so we were confused as to why it was off, leaving us to wonder if they were open or closed. When we got to the counter the menu wasn’t even on so we basically just stood there looking lost. We got a mango drink that was extremely sour I would compare it to drinking a Warhead that’s been liquified. We ordered pho and a shrimp rice bowl having high expectations for broth these dishes. As for the wait time it was very slow for them only have two customers there. First off, the pho was horrible the broth was bland with no flavor at all except for salty. This place specializing in pho is disappointing because they can’t even get close to an authentic flavor. I think there needs to be a big change since pho is the main dish within this restaurant. We also got the shrimp rice bowl and ohhhh it was so bad first the shrimp was cold and it had absolutely no flavor at all. The rice was fried rice and not what I was expecting because I thought it was gonna be white rice with shrimp and some veggies with the sides. Overall I don’t recommend this place and if they want to stay in business they should start by completely changing the recipes and ingredients. If I had the option to give the taste 0 stars I would absolutely do it. This place has a lot of potential to grow and I don’t want to bash this place this is constructive criticism. We still want to enjoy this place and hope they take this into serious consideration so we can go back another time and enjoy the dishes.

I love this new addition to Norwalk; it’s so refreshing to have more options when you’re going out locally. When I came to try the restaurant for the first time this afternoon my expectations were not let down. Not only is the staff great but the food fulfills the ultimate cravings. There were these two adoring high school girls who made me feel welcome immediately. Positive energy like that is rare but at phonetics it’s all I encountered. I love this place and wouldn’t be surprised to find it as my new favorite spot.

I spent $75 in food for 2people and didn’t get my whole order. Paid for sauces I didn’t get, and A pork banh mi I didn’t get. The crab rangoons lacked flavor and full of oil. The pot stickers taste like frozen pkgd pot stickers. The pho lacked flavor. I put 2pkts of hoisen and a pkt of soy in it but it didn’t have the pho flavor. Without the packets it had no flavor. I only got 1 spoon for our soups. Our drinks didn’t have boba balls as ordered when I arrived for pick up. When we arrived for pick up we had to wait at the counter so long that she forgot we were there and she started cleaning counters but saw us and went oh! And came to help us. I didn’t get a mango sauce or chili sauce as ordered but got one that I was charged 75c for. Not sure I will be back, as I called 10min before 2pm to tell them what happened and I called back for 10min and no one answered. Not sure if I will even get my pork banh mi that I have never had before that I was excited to try. Only gave 2 stars because I have hope for a brighter future.

I ordered chicken rice bowl with extra fried rice and egg rolls. It was ok. Way overpriced for food received. Two people was $65. I will stay with my favorite place. It has way better food and the right quantity for price. We were not impressed.

My husband and I have gotten carry out three times since they have opened and it has always been great. We have ordered Pho each time. The rare beef pho was a little lacking on the meat portion, but the second time we ordered the brisket pho, and they included much more meat. Overall, we will keep ordering as it’s so good and the staff have been very friendly! So happy to finally have Vietnamese food in the Norwalk / Indianola area!

I decided to try this new place after seeing many positive reviews. I ordered the vermicelli bowl, and someone else in my party ordered the combination pho. We were honestly surprised by what was served.
The combination pho had only two or three slices of beef and what amounted to half of a meatball (the meatball was cut into quarters and the bowl only had two pieces). None of the usual components you would normally expect in a combination pho — such as brisket, tendon, or tripe were present. The bowl felt mostly like broth with very minimal toppings.
My vermicelli bowl salad was also extremely small, with very few noodles — barely enough to pick up with chopsticks, a small amount of chicken, and lettuce with no dressing. For a dish priced around $14–$16, the portion felt unusually minimal.
I asked twice if the dish could either be remade or replaced with something else, but the response was simply to add more broth, which didn’t really address the issue. In the end, we still left feeling hungry.
I’m not sure if this was an off day or how the restaurant operate. I’ve been to most DSM area pho places. This is the most disappointing experience.
