Pho in Tom’s River is pretty good, who would have thought? I got the chicken pho and my partner got the beef rib pho. I wish the chicken pho had more of the pho spice taste but the broth of the beef pho was good. Perfect for the winter, I’d come back for a Viet craving if in the area!

The beef rib pho was amazing! Very generous piece of meat that was tender and delicious with a savory broth.. It also had plenty of delicious greens in the bowl and on this side. The noodles are abundant. I could only eat half of it, so bring your appetite!

A massive, fall apart beef rib standing proudly in the bowl like it knows it’s the main character. Deep, clear broth with serious flavor, not greasy, not flat, just rich and comforting. The kind of broth you immediately slow down for because you don’t want to waste a sip.

Easily two meals. No exaggeration. I ate until I was full, packed it up, and still had plenty of noodles, meat, and broth left. This is one of those rare leftovers that somehow tastes even better the next day.
Freshness
The vegetables were crisp and fresh, not sad or wilted. Plenty of herbs, scallions, and onions to keep every bite balanced. Nothing felt rushed or skimpy.

Spend the extra $2 for additional bean sprouts and pho veggies. Do it. Your future self will be grateful. When you’re reheating leftovers and still have broth and noodles but need more crunch and freshness, those extra veggies save the day.

Amazing food everything I’ve tasted here has not disappointed me. The portions are enormous I always end up with yummy leftovers. The vietnamese iced coffee or thai iced tea are great accompaniments to the various delicious things they have to offer (ranging in spice levels too). I would order take out from here or bring my friends here to experience the place. Pho and Bun bo hue is incredible and I absolutely recommend one of their various appetizers offered. Easily one of my new top faves in Ocean County!

This place was awesome. Truly authentic and great quality. We came as a group of 6, with 3 of us being vegetarian/vegan and it was no issue at all because of their vegetarian section on the menu. Starting with the appetisers, which I could tell were home made and tasted great. Then moving onto dinner we all got different things which were all really good. Not to mention how good the service was, with us being seated right away by our awesome waitress. I’m so glad they came to Main Street cause this location is great, and I will definitely be back soon!

Everything was delicious. I had the shrimp pho which was incredible and a nice serving – left with enough for another meal. My three friends loved their meals as well. Can’t wait to go back!

Officially my favorite Vietnamese place. The beef rib pho was delicious, and the meat fell off the bone. Our other dishes (grilled pork banh mi, pork chops, and calamari) were great as well. Happy to see more restaurants in downtown TR.

this downtown spot is located on a busy corner. no free parking; meter street parking a block or 2 away. when I was there that day there were a lot of commotion. really turned me off to the experience of getting here and having to pay. like Toms River isn’t already gouging folks for money enough.
anyway…
the nice waitress recommended the beef rib over their special…because I asked which is bigger/more meat. I’m very glad she recommend that because the beef rib was phenomenonal! not to use that word lightly but the flavor that it was cooked in, almost grilled like w lemongrass beforehand is truly complimentary to the pho broth. super tender and flavorful! I’d go back for the beef rib alone!

I went for dinner last night for a friends birthday and everything was absolutely amazing! The service was quick and friendly and the food was 10/10! We had vegetarian spring rolls, calamari, two different kinds of pho and shrimp and scallop stir fry and truly everything was so delicious! We will definitely be back.
