If you’re looking for the best pho or just Vietnamese food in GR, then this is the spot. My friend introduced me to this place a few years ago and I haven’t stopped going back since. I introduced my fiancé into it last year and even he hasn’t stopped talking about it.
The staff there are very friendly and they have such a sweet and adorable little family. The service is very fast, menu self-explanatory, and the pho, appetizers, entrées are just so so good. Tables could be a little better, but you do with what you got and I’m not huge person to complain about stuff like that. As long as the food blows me away, I couldn’t care less about the inside, as long as it’s clean and that’s exactly what it is. I will also say getting it for takeout is also amazing, they come with little cool bowls perfect for the pho to fit in and I haven’t really seen any other places use those to go bowls like they do so that’s an A+!

This place is a small little restaurant. I didnt really like how they have the seating setup. Its either a gigantic table if you have a big party ornyounsharing a table with other folks.
Pho is pretty good, one of the better one we tried in Grand Rapid. Eggroll wasn’t nothing special but decent eggrolls.
Service was good the granny that served us was really nice.
Just kind of disappointed on menu.
Barely anything for appetizers. Heard their chicken was pretty good but they only sell in large portions.
Most of their stuff was sold in large portion only so didn’t get the chance to try other things on the menu.
Or when we order some stuff they didn’t have it.
But if I was just in that area and wanted to get Pho I wouldn’t mind stopping by and get some in the future.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. Boyfriend ordered a vermicelli bowl which was loaded with meat. I ordered the seafood fried noodle dish since I’m pescatarian; it does come with pork but they were flexible in omitting it. There’s not a lot of options for pescatarians/vegetarians. However, the noodles were good. Good flavor, with some “wok hay” to the toppings.
The waitress was super sweet and funny.

The lady serving us is so sweet, she remembers me and my friends all the time we visit to come-They fill their food with love and generosity. I love how full the bowls are and how much stuff they put inside it as well. This place is truly one of a kind.

The most impressive and best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve gone to. I’m not Vietnamese, but have been exposed to a lot of Vietnamese food. I’ve tried their Pho, Mi Kho, Bun Rieu (special), Mi Bo Kho (special), and Bun Thit Nuong (this dish includes nem nuong and egg rolls). None of the dishes have been bad. Their prices are a little higher than others but the portions make up for it. I try to make it here weekly with the wife.
Though a bit pretentious, I’ve heard a few patrons at other tables (during different visits) compare this restaurant to some of the best Viet food in California. Give this place a try!

Soo good! The service was fast and the food was fresh, hot, and authentic! Tried the chicken fried rice, beef pho and egg rolls. My husband ate the pho before I could take a picture, but it was his first time trying it and he said it was so flavorful and comforting. Very generous portions and the price was on point. We had enough for leftovers for two more nights. We will definitely be back!! We also got the Vietnamese coffee which was strong and sweet and delicious.

Just an ordinary authentic Vietnam restaurant. Their pho is incredible and the crispy rice noodles are good. However, the quail was very under seasoned and bland. No flavor at all. Also, 3 pieces of ice in the water even though the building is so hot and the water isn’t already cold. When we asked for ice, she brought 1 small kid cup of ice. Then we asked again, and she gave 1 again even though there is a lot of people with iceless water cups at the table.
They also do not have spring rolls which is disappointing and a first. Never seen a Vietnamese restaurant without spring rolls.

Went here for lunch and had a great experience! I ordered the crispy fried egg noodles — they were absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. The portion was generous and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving tasty Vietnamese food without breaking the bank!

I craved for Special Rice all the time. Pho Xin Chao used to be Pho Mekong and they switched the owner. Still great taste even though it took a little time for the food to be served. So busy with take-out order. They need more staff lol. Great portion and intriguing taste. Dry Vermicelli with pork and seafood is the best one so far that I have had in the US. Love it!

Fried chicken wings in fish sauce is delicious!!! I used to try their goat meat hot pot, bún mắm, mì vịt tiềm and it taste very authentic and delicious also. I haven’t had a chance to try the other dish but definitely will try another one! If you guys have allergy, don’t be a jerk and ask the owner or the waiter the detail about the dish. They are very lovely!
