Pho Vietnam Anchorage offers a familiar lineup of classic pho selections alongside a couple pages of Thai dishes, making it an approachable spot for mixed cravings. The dining room is clean, open, and bright, and service was friendly and efficient, always a good start.
I ordered the pho combo with a side of fried egg rolls. The broth leans distinctly southern-style, landing as one of the sweeter pho broths in Anchorage. You can taste the rock sugar right away. That said, it stays clean on the palate and avoids the heavier aromatic punch that often comes with southern-style pho. Protein portions were okay, though the bowl leaned more noodle-forward than meat-heavy.
One nice surprise was the condiment station. Beyond the usual hoisin, sriracha, and chili oil, they also offer tuong ot and a few additional seasonings, giving diners more control over dialing in their bowl.
The egg rolls were fine but forgettable, nothing that would pull me back on their own.
Bottom line: Pho Vietnam is a solid option if you prefer a sweeter, southern-leaning pho broth served in a clean, welcoming space. It may not top the charts for depth or complexity, but for those who enjoy that sweeter profile, it’s definitely worth a visit.

We haven’t been here before. It was bright and friendly inside. The menu on the wall has pictures of some of the dishes. My child opted for the veggie pho with noodles and I got the beef pho. I forget exactly which one.
Both bowls came out extremely fast and filled to the brim. We also got the normal side of basil, cilantro, limes and sprouts; all very fresh.
The broth was very flavorful and the noodles and veggies were also good! Very fresh.
We also go the egg rolls. Came out nice and hot.
The staff who I could only assume may have been the owners were very nice. The gentleman helped with putting the leftovers in the go containers.
Bathroom was clean.
Will come again.

The guy working the counter sat down right in view of me and rubbed his bare feet with oil, then did NOT wash his hands. Totally disgusting. Been here before and the pho broth is good. I ordered a chicken pho. Got alot of meat last time I came here. This time they messed up and brought me beef instead. Not what I ordered. And it had barely any meat in it at all.

This place was soooo good!! I got hungry heading to the Walmart and stopped in. They were busy but the service was polite and fast. The host even managed to crack a joke and we had a laugh. The menu was loaded with authentic cuisine and d the flavors were all there for the right price. Stop in if you are in the area. Enjoy!

I went to get a bowl of pho. I try to stir the noodle and there was a hair. Well i can understand everyone makes mistakes. So i call the attendant and showed him. He took it back and a few moments later he comes out with another bowl. Guess there was the same hair. Lol looks they just washed the sauce that i put in and brought me the same soup. Not going there anymore. Nasty.

Absolutely amazing Vietnamese food! Very vegan friendly, humongous portions!! 1 dish will feed 2 adults easily with of course an appetizer . Phenomenal flavours, wow my new favourite place to eat at in Anchorage! And I’ve tried several Vietnamese restaurants here! Pictured was my massive plate of Drunken Noodles with tofu (very generous with the tofu!)

I am not from the Anchorage area. I am in the hospital and wanted some good decent food and my CNA recommended this place. This resturant didn’t disappoint me at all. I order the ribeye steak, egg rolls, and limeade to drink, and enjoyed every bite.
