If you never had Pho before try this place!
Overall, highly recommended!
We don’t know if there has been a change in ownership or chef, but the food quality has clearly declined. What used to be a 10 for us is now a 2–3 at best. This was our worst experience here, and unfortunately, it will be the last time we eat at this restaurant.
Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk – this had a definite punch to it and I’ve had Vietnamese iced coffee before but this was definitely on the stronger side. So if you’re looking for a bit of a kick after dinner then this is the go to. It also had a very nutty and chocolatey taste and I wonder what brand of coffee they use. Whatever it is, it tasted absolutely amazing and even my sister who doesn’t like coffee was very impressed. My only complaint is that before taxes this was a $5 coffee and it was very small. Most people won’t care but just keep this in mind if you’re a big coffee person.
banh tom chien – 10/10 the sauce was absolutely phenomenal. I believe they told us it was a vinegar based(??) That could be wrong but I’d recommend this 100%. It was basically yam and shrimp, to simplify the dish. Was definitely the star of the show and I’ll be back to eat this specifically. Warning the shrimp does have shells on it but I ate it just like that, it’s crispy enough that it doesn’t matter.
P1 Pho Dac Biet 9/10- was the restaurant special. Was absolutely delicious but I will say that the bowls of pho are significantly smaller than other places I get my Pho from. They also did not include a lot of meat :/. Though the broth was so GOOD that I have to call it a definite win. I just wish they would offer more noodles/meat. But that’s a personal preference for me. It definitely didn’t impact how delicious this meal was!! I’d get the Pho again.
P4 Pho Tai Nam 9/10 – My sister got this one and she really enjoyed it, said the broth was actually amazing And she actually liked the bowl size. It was just right. She did also need more noodles and agreed that it did have a disproportionate amount of meat,
P3 Pho Tai Chin 8/10 – My nephew loves the food here and thought that his pho was amazing but he did wish that they offered different sizes. Like large and medium, to give an example. Other than that he had thought that the pho was absolutely delicious and has been begging me to take him back to the store since then.
The price came up to about $64 for the whole meal and I will say that this is definitely a few more dollars than I’ve spent at most other Pho places. Still this was such a great experience and I’ll definitely be coming back in the future to try other things!!!!!!!!!
