Social Profile:

Pho Van invites you to discover some of the finest selections of the authentic Northern Vietnamese cuisine. Truly inspired by the long Vietnamese history of war, the fight for freedom had gave birth to a specialty dish known as Phở (Vietnamese Soup Noodles). Phở has existed over a hundred years and today it is recognized as the national dish of Vietnam. The dish had captured the fascination of many people including writers, poets, connoisseurs and culinary experts because of the deceptive simplicity yet complex flavors. Pho Van takes pride in replicating and preserving the original Phở Bắc (Pho of the North) after 7 years of research. Today the restaurant is successful in serving an authentic bowl of Phở Bắc outside Vietnam.

The food and plating at this restaurant are on par with fine dining, not a regular restaurant.
If it was located in Sukhumvit, where there are many foreigners, I think there would have been many customers at a reasonable price.
It’s located at the back gate of the university to Ramkham, and parking is not possible, so you can pay 20 baht per hour after parking in the condo right next door, so there’s no big problem with parking.

I had a wonderful experience at Pho Van! The Bahn Mi was excellent with juicy fillings and perfectly crisp bread. The lime yogurt was refreshing and a nice complement to the meal. The pho was flavorful and comforting, while the spring rolls were crispy and delicious. The overall ambiance was amazing, with relaxing music, making it a perfect place to hang out and enjoy good food. The staff were equally fantastic, adding to the great dining experience!

Nice, cozy, clean. I came here and got an order of 3 banh mi to go. The banh Mi was good. Had good flavors and the bread was good. I just needed much more veggies to get more crunch. I will try it again. good prices, little sandwich but its only 110 baht for egg sandwich and 140 for pork. I ate 2 and was full.

A very good Vietnamese restaurant. You can find almost all the dishes you may have tried in Vietnam, prepared authentically and with good quality ingredients. The food is consistently flavourful. I come here regularly. Highly recommended!

Average Vietnamese food. Not bad, but not great.
1. Hanoi spring rolls – tasty but not very crispy
2. Stewed red pork bahn mi – 80% bread, 20% contents (see my pics). There was almost nothing inside the sandwich.
3. “North Pho beef nowl” – good Pho, but they didn’t provide any basil leaves or bean sprouts to go with the soup?

Atmosphere – the restaurant is clean, nicely decorated. But why was it so dark inside? I went in around 7pm and had to ask them to turn the lights on above my table ‍♂️ The only light was coming from the cashier/bar area (see my photo).

I stopped by three times this week because I was craving Vietnamese cuisine. I had Hanoi beef pho twice and pork pho once. Their lime yoghurt was tasty too. I’d prefer more noodles in the pho, and the beef slices could be thinner and tenderer. Nonetheless, it’s a great spot for solo dining or hanging out with friends, and I’ll definitely return to try more dishes.

I tried the Banh MI sandwich… it was good. Not great but good. The price was half of what another Viet restaurant around the corner charges. Viet coffee was good! Had to get a 2nd cup! The atmosphere was cozy. Luv the mural. Parking? I’ve no idea where to park a car? I parked my motorbike in front sidewalk.
