The staff are amazing and really chill. The food is INCREDIBLE. If you order the mango smoothie be prepared because it’s incredibly sweet. So if you have a major sweet tooth the mango smoothie is DELICIOUS. it’s not too frozen or too runny, the texture is just right. And the boba in it is DELICIOUS. best boba I’ve ever had. Portions are really good and place is clean. In the photo is my hand next to the small pho bowl. Amazing. Honestly coming here with my boyfriend anytime we crave pho/boba now!

We were in Santee for errands on a rainy day. Perfect weather for a bowl of hot pho soup to eat at home. Found this Vietnamese pho place on Cuyamaca Street in Santee not far from the freeway. We entered the restaurant on the closed side door but the waitstaff was kind and opened the door to let us in and sat us down immediately. He gave us the menu to look and to order food to go. We were excited to see the bun bo hue was available so we ordered this as well as the large house special beef combo. Also, we wanted to try their grilled meat and ordered the grilled beef with rice dish. Unlike some of the Vietnamese restaurants, the entire waitstaff was kind and attentive. Server even took our credit card to process the bill as though we’re customers who ate at the restaurant. A lot of Vietnamese restaurants would require customers to go up to their cashier counter to pay their bills. We loved being treated with consideration and appreciation. Restaurant appeared to be clean and we saw one of the servers mopped and cleaned the floor. We thoroughly enjoyed the pho, bun bo hue and the grilled beef rice dish. Very authentic Vietnamese food at a very affordable price, which is a rare find in the East County of San Diego. We will be back to try other dishes in the near future.

I’m a regular customer that often comes to this location but I will not be coming back after today. After a couple sips of water I noticed a lipstick stain on the cup my daughter was drinking out of. It made me question the cleanliness of utensils ,plates etc now. Now this is not to talk down on this business that always has good costumer service, really good food but I’m not sure about their restaurant hygiene…

Busy Vietnamese pho restaurant in Santee. Great service, good variety of menu items, and reasonable price.
The only reason I downscored it is because everything came out at once, appetizers and main all loaded in front of us. Maybe this isn’t an issue for most but for me it is. I like to have appetizers first and the main after. I know this could be a time saving move but as I mentioned, I would like to have things in order of request.
My other slight disappointment was the fact that the greasy brisket was full gristle, indicative of low quality beef cuts.
Apart from that the food was tasty and plentiful.
