I ordered a bbq chicken lemongrass sandwich with apple green milk tea and both were delicious! I was really happy to find out they have nondairy milk for their boba. The owner is so friendly too; he checked on all his customers during their meal to make sure everything was good. I hope this place sticks around for a very long time!

On the afternoon of April 17th, I visited this store which is one of the few Taiwanese bubble tea shops on the Island of Hawaii. Although the owner was not there, his partner explained to me that the tea and equipment all come from Taichung, Taiwan. The tea is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the people are friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Island of Hawaii.

Very friendly staff and quick service. Food came out quickly and the food was DELICIOUS! Since we started coming here, it has been our third time here in a couple weeks. The drinks are great as well.

Beef Bahn Mi sandwich and Monster Boba so good! Best brown sugar boba drink in Hilo. The sandwiches are freshly made and healthy tons of flavor! Been going to this place for years they recently switched sides of the street to do food also. Very friendly and large dining area.

Great little restaurant and the noodle bowls were yummy! The egg rolls were crispy and the chicken was flavorful. Would recommend for a chill lunch spot!

My cousins in California said Ding Tea is the best boba joint so I decided to try the one here. I have no complaints. Tasty boba tea. Nice little cafe with lots of art for taking pictures just like the other locations.

I’m not sure why Ding Tea has store hours posted on Google already as they are not open yet. We drove from Kona just to see the windows still covered up. So disappointing.
Updated review: 5 years later – Ding Tea is now Tiger Tea Vietnamese Restaurant.
My daughter and I came here on a Wednesday afternoon. We ordered their Combination Pho (contains tendon, flank & meatballs) and Rare Steak Pho. They were both just ok. The noodles were standard and there wasn’t enough meat/tendon given.
We also ordered 2 drinks: Mango Slush & Iced Hokkaido Black Milk Tea. Not sure what happened with the Mango Slush, as it tasted like Frozen Apple Juice. And the Hokkaido Milk Tea lacked tea flavor.
