After visiting Oktoberfest in Snowbird, we decided to stop here because we loved Vietnamese food. We checked out the reviews and felt it was a good choice. And we were pleasantly surprised! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was incredible. It was lunchtime, so it was very quiet but enjoyable I really enjoyed the food I’ve got it’s one of the top Vietnamese places I’ve been to in a long time! I definitely will coming here more times than one! Really chill and incredible place would highly recommend anybody that likes Vietnamese food.

Surprisingly delicious! I loved the banh mi steak I ordered with the tempura sweet potato fries. They were amazing! My friend ordered the beef pho and she said it was really good. They even gave her extra noodles on the side since pho comes with so much broth.

I’m not normally into pho so I kind of cringe when friends suggest going to any pho restaurant but this place has plenty of other offerings – so if you’re like me – you too can find a great meal here. And our server was great and had solid recommendations. Attentive staff and very clean inside.

I’m a sucker for a good meatball pho. This place has one of the best in Utah. Seriously. Come hungry and go home happy. Then go back and try anything else on the menu. I have never left dissatisfied. Service is also on point. Great date spot.

Ordered BanhMi for lunch take-out and it was a satisfying experience overall. The food: the bread itself which we’re very particular about is freshly baked, crunchy outside and soft inside and has a bit of sweet taste to it. It has a generous serving of meat that is very tasty and well seasoned. Comes with a bit of some fresh veggies in it, topped with house sauce and fresh cilantro – yummm Also comes with a side of fried sweet yam which tasted way better than regular french fries. The staff were friendly and nice. The only issue is parking which I think is expected considering there’s a lot of construction going on atm.

I wanted to grab a bowl of pho for lunch, today, so I headed over to Pho Thin for the first time, ever, which is, “Temporarily operating in SAOLA Restaurant & Lounge building as a pop-up.”

When I arrived at noon, the parking lot was not crowded. There was only one woman working the front of house and one table of four seated on the Saola side of the dining room. The Pho Thin side was empty and I was seated at a two top facing the bar. The entire space is large, clean and modern.

The woman working the front of house was very friendly and quickly took my order of pho with beef tendon and extra beef tendon. I didn’t have to wait long for it to arrive. Typically, pho tends to be served with almost all of the liquid fat skimmed out of the broth. This broth had quite a bit of it, which I greatly enjoyed, except for the greasy splatters that appeared on my clothes. It was a bib or apron-required kind of pho. The beef tendon was just about perfect. I like it big. I like it chunky. Yum!

I enjoyed the pho enough that I plan to return with my wife for another bowl sooner, rather than later. I’m looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

I’m also looking forward to dining at Saola, which I was told serves Vietnamese and Asian-fusion cuisine. Strangely, I can’t find a listing for it on Google Maps.

Rude hostess. We stood there waiting to be seated for a while and then we were told they only do takeout. Instead of being nice she told us we should have read it on the website. Could have simply just told us they were only doing takeout. Not necessary to be rude.

Update:
They have moved locations across the valley to the Sandy/Cottonwood area. New area is super busy. They only do dine in from like 12-4 jsyk, but they do takeout otherwise. We didn’t know any of this so we’re a bit thrown off, went to soala instead which I guess shares a kitchen with them?

Turn off your delivery option or update estimated time if it’s a busy night. I was staying in the city for a few days and wanted to try this place. Unlucky the delivery window is not synced with the apps.

Get the Calamari.
I have eaten at places all over the United States from California to Boston. This restaurant has HANDS DOWN the best Calimari!

The Pho is very tasty, you can’t go wrong. Staff is friendly and is quick to assist as needed.

I’ve been to a lot of pho places around slc and this one is probably one of my least favorite. Their food is very expensive and not the best quality. They gave a us a plate of bean sprouts, lemons, and wilted old basil. Why lemons?? The broth is extraordinarily oily. The edemame tasted super plain. I ordered a Thai ice tea and they brought out a glass of it half full. The only good thing is that we had a nice server.
