Reviews
The atmosphere was beautiful and very trendy; I can easily see couples or groups of friends visiting this place to take photos and enjoy a nice dinner or lunch in a great environment.
Service & Environment:
The service was excellent, with staff performance being up to par. The location was large and spacious.
Food & Drink Feedback (Inconsistent Quality):
The primary issue was that several savory dishes were missing the necessary seasoning and flavor to make them stand out, which made the food experience disappointing.
Passion Orange Boba with Mango Jelly: Excellent and phenomenal. Very refreshing; completely stood out. (A clear highlight!)
GỎI CUỐN THỊT NƯỚNG (Grilled Pork Rice Paper Roll): Achieved a nice grilled taste, but the pork was missing the expected caramelization common in Vietnamese cuisine, resulting in blandness and a lack of depth and seasoning.
HOÀNH THÁNH (Wonton Soup): Well-cooked and prepared, but lacking flavor. The broth could be improved with better seasoning to distinguish it.
Grilled Pork Banh Mi: Excellent freshness across all ingredients. The pork was disappointing due to the lack of caramelization/glaze. HOWEVER, the pickled vegetables (radish and carrots) were pickled to perfection; they were the “stars” of the Banh Mi and truly extravagant, showcasing a mastery of the pickling process that most places miss.
Some of the drinks we did order never came to the table. We asked our server 3 times and never received them, so we had to go up to the boba bar and ask them as well.
Same with a few of the appetizers. Some dishes seemed to be missing some components – a few of our vermicelli dishes didn’t come with any fish sauce.
Food itself was just okay, I’ve had better in other Vietnamese places around the area. Especially with the service, I will not be coming back here.
First, the food quality has noticeably declined. The phở and other dishes are no longer as consistent as they once were. Flavors are weaker, grilled meats come out burn, and sometime even sour taste, noddles are soggy, wonton taste nothing but black pepper, and the dishes feel rushed and careless compared to before. This is disappointing, especially for a Vietnamese customers who have been loyal for so long.
Second, the service timing is extremely disorganized. Food often comes out very late and with no logical order. Tables that arrive after us are frequently served before us. Even worse, grilled dishes are sometimes served before noodle soups, which makes no sense for a Vietnamese restaurant. By the time the soup dishes arrives, other dishes are already cold or finished.
Most concerning to me is the staff behavior, particularly the girls at the drink station. On one visit, a staff member preparing drinks had a very rude attitude. Straws were thrown toward me instead of being handed properly when I was standing right in front of her — one was literally tossed in a way that felt disrespectful and careless. This is completely unacceptable in any restaurant, regardless of how busy it is.
We understand that restaurants can have stressful days, but poor attitude and lack of basic respect toward customers should never be excused. When these issues happen repeatedly over many visits, it shows a deeper problem with management and training.
Because we used to come here so often, it is especially disappointing to see the decline in food quality, service organization, and customer care. At this point, it is very hard to justify continuing to return unless improvements are made and can be vividly seen. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because loyal customers are leaving — not because they want to, but because the experience no longer matches the standard it once had.
The only thing I didn’t like was needing to flag the waiter down for a refill, but I assume that may also be cultural, because it’s rare to find a Vietnamese restaurant where they ever check on you after they bring the food out. By the way I was the only person in there so he definitely wasn’t busy.
