I’ve ordered from here twice now, and both experiences have exceeded my expectations.
I ordered the wonton soup (pictured). It looks like it was packaged with care, and you can truly taste that in every bite. I’ve officially found a new favorite spot.

The pho and everything we’ve ordered here is INCREDIBLE, but what makes this our ONLY PHO RESTAURANT WE PATRON is Vi, Dat, Mr. T, Twan and all the amazing staff! They take customer service to levels that are out of this world! The jazz music is enjoyable and always background level. They are always quick even when every table is full. Love our Pho Thanh Long family!

I’ve been coming here for years and didn’t realize I had never done a review on this place. Just the fact that I’ve been coming here for years says something since I’m pretty picky about where I eat. I love to come here for pho. It’s so well done, and the service is always great. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

In my opinion, this place is just okay. My friend and I dropped by on a Sunday night and we were seated right away.

For appetizer, we ordered the spring rolls and for the entre, I ordered the Pho with eye round steak and tripe.
The spring rolls were fine but I was a little caught off guard with their peanut sauce. The peanut sauce I’m used to is thicker and saltier but this one tasted a little watered down and the consistency was similar to that too.
As for the pho, the soup was honestly pretty bland. There wasn’t much meat in there either so it was a little disappointing.
On a high note, I ordered the Kumquat Sugarcane juice which was a nice refreshment!

Aside from that, the service was standard but I would have to say this place is a 2.9/5.

Great food! We wanted to try both the fried egg rolls and the spring rolls, the fried egg rolls won!! It was bigger than other restaurants and very crispy. The broth of the pho was very flavorful, even without adding any additional sauces. The crispy fried noodles was a nice surprise. Similar to Cantonese style fried noodles, but better! The lemongrass chicken vermicelli, lots of meat. Overall great value for the money! Will go back for sure!

I’ve been coming here for over a decade+ and it’s my go to for Vietnamese in NW Houston.
Service is always friendly and quick; the food is fresh, delicious and consistent.

The MUST order dish … the Chả Giò (fried egg rolls). Made the old school way with a rice paper (bánh tráng) wrapper, containing a wonderful, addictive & balanced filling showcased in a crispy, blistered exterior – just phenomenal! Comes with a plate full of fresh green leaf lettuce, pickled carrots, cucumber slivers and cilantro sprigs… just be careful biting into these when they come out because they are nuclear hot (temp) on the inside.

And because I’m also addicted to the Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls (Gỏi Cuốn), I get these every time also. Loaded with shrimp, strips of pork, lettuce and the good kind of vermicelli, these offer a great flavor combo and chewiness satisfaction.

Entree wise, I usually go for the Pho or a hot vermicelli dish. The Pho here is great – hearty, plentiful and overall delicious. The broth stands on its own; well-developed and a great balance of flavors.. it’d be a shame to douse it with sriracha and hoisin. Another generous fresh plate of veggies is coupled with your bowl of Pho to accentuate and elevate your experience – bean sprouts, jalapenos, cilantro, thai basil and a wedge of lime.

Please visit Pho Thanh Long!

AMAZING FOOD! I got the egg rolls – they were huge and stuffed with filling. I also loved the fresh veggies and dipping sauce it came with. We got a few other dishes as well as Pho to take home. Everything was perfect!
