Pho Tau Bay is a decent local pho spot with a wide menu that goes beyond just soups. They offer plenty of other Vietnamese dishes, but this visit we stayed focused on noodle soups.
We had the wonton noodle soup with egg noodles and a beef pho with rice noodles, and both were satisfying bowls with flavorful broth and good portions.
It’s one of the larger restaurants in this mostly Vietnamese strip mall, so there’s plenty of seating even when it gets busy. The parking lot is big but tends to fill up quickly.
One important pro tip I learned this trip: BRING CASH. It’s the only thing they accept. Drops the stars one notch for me cuz there’s no in-your-face signage and I didn’t know till i went to pay. I had to leave and come back to pay.

Pho was stinky so much I try to eat but smells like animal parts and so hard to eat
There is a lots of meats not even cooked and raw and thick too soup it wasn’t that hot to cook all meats tasteless and horrible experience my friend get chicken fries and grill too we found chicken neck inside that mix any way they never told us only cash and they put some scam atm machine inside the restaurant too
Long story short I will never comeback here again when I in the cashier register I can see inside the kitchen looks so nasty feels like some kind of other country and a lots of old people was working after I saw all that my stomach hurts almost 1 hour

A long time pho place that’s been around for many years making very good pho as well as many other Vietnamese dishes! They’re one of very few places that offer rice porridge and beef bone! They also have orange rice and cubed beef too. However, I found that some of the rice kind of felt a little sour and even the vegetables tasted a little soapy or something, I’m not sure. However, the service is really nice but do be warned that they only take cash only but there is an on-site ATM.

Many, many, many years ago they had better Pho. In recent times feels different. Their customer service was always very transactional. I no longer come to this shop provided one time my basil felt like wasn’t washed properly and made me wonder if they do deep cleaning. My table was a little sticky, too. And, their meat portions were getting smaller each day. I began exploring other pho restaurants and this place wasn’t as good anymore.

Amazing pho and bowl. Came from Florida and this seems just much more flavorful all around and the waitress was so nice, helped us pick what we wanted and pointed out what we wouldn’t like.

A great family spot, always satisfied with the food here. I always see a lot of Vietnamese folks in here, which means it’s legit, and they know what they are doing. I’ve visited the other location off Keyes Road, and the food it consistent. The portions are fairly large, and it’s a great way to share a few items together to try more items.

Pho is very good, i love it. I came late night 9pm service was busy, doordash, pickup everywhere. I wait about 20min for Pho. Place clean but i sign for restroom. And *CASH ONLY*. lucky there atm in there too. Very cheap and good

Have not been to this location in over 5 years. Still decent food at fair prices. I came during non rush hours, around 2 PM. All the tables were empty except for three. I sat down, ordered spring rolls and Pho with a side of beef bone soup. It came in less than 10 min. Wow, that was fast. The food is good. Nothing great and nothing really bad which in today’s time isn’t so bad. They have stayed consistent.

Handsdown my fave Pho in San Jose. Been eating here for 15+ years. The pho is flavorful and is filled with noodles and meat moreso than most pho places. The flavor is strong and it’s so good. The phonis served hot, unlike some other restos that are served lukewarm. I also like the local feel of resto. My go to is the DacBiet Them Bo Vien!

Went there for the Bun Bo Hue, but also found a huge beef bone with bone marrow (#19) . Very big portion and low price.
