Couldn’t wait to take better photos, we jumped right in. Food was absolutely delicious and tasted fresh, I would’ve ordered more to try out other entrees but we’re out of town and don’t have a place to store the food. The restaurant is clean and the decor was beautiful, and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Love that they have karaoke nights on Friday. I would come out every week if I lived close by. Highly recommended!!!

After wrapping up our night at the cinema, my friend and I found ourselves hungry, and happened upon Pho Sonoma. Because she has a sensitive stomach, we always like to look at the menu before committing somewhere. Seeing an abundance of options, we walked in and asked if it was possible to try a sample of their broth. This is where we were met with just the beginning of our unbelievably kind, DELICIOUS, and unforgettable experience. Chef Jenny herself came out to greet us, along with her husband and co-owner, Huey. They not only explained to us what goes into the broth, but also delivered a VERY generous sample of the two kinds they offer. Throughout our time there we enjoyed several options from their menu, and each item was 11/10. Many thanks as well to our waiter, Daniel, who was an absolute gem. This restaurant checks all of the boxes and then some!

The artwork they have featured on their wall was painted by one of their favorite artists in Vietnam. The artist painted the piece as requested, rolled it up, and shipped it over! It’s a remarkable sight on its own, but hearing the history behind it was the cherry on top of our evening. This restaurant clearly values and understands the connection to the multi-sensory dining experience we all yearn for. It was the best night to kick off the fall season, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Pho Sonoma is one of our family’s favorite spots in Petaluma—we go at least once a month! The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, which we really appreciate. The food is always fresh and delicious; we’ve tried all different types of their pho and every single one has been amazing. My daughter loves their orange chicken—it even comes with fresh orange slices. Tonight she ate her entire plate, which says a lot for a picky toddler! Consistently great food, wonderful service, and a friendly atmosphere make this place a true gem in town. They’re even doing Karaoke twice a week now! Highly recommend!

Pho Sonoma is absolutely my favorite pho in petaluma. They have so much variety when it comes to food, more specifically pho. The customer service is always very friendly. The owner of this family owned restaurant is very knowledgeable when it comes to the dishes. This is in a very good location by downtown Sonoma. Side streets parking but it is nice to walk going ra to this restaurant. Everybody who assisted us were very accommodating and alert to our needs. Wide selection of food in the menu. Price is just right. Food is uniquely good and nicely presented. Serving is just right as well. Lots of condiments at the table. Place is clean as well as the restroom.
They have the best Beef Fillet Mignon cube in oyster sauce. So tasty and soft.

There wasn’t a $5 surcharge for making my curry more spicy than normal (it was not).
They had maintained their alcohol selection appropriately; my wife requested white wine. They were completely out. I requested a Cambodian Wheat beer; they were out of that as well. Regular beer, foreign and domestic, appeared to be $8 for a 12oz serving and $12 for a pint-size. That’s way higher than normal.
I requested the daily curry special ($25), vegetarian, and received a chicken order instead. Our server (who was very nice) brought me back the same dish with the chicken still in the bowl, but with a few vegetables tossed in. Shortly afterwards, a different server (very nice as well) dropped off a plate a steamed vegetables (these were good) which was odd, but I accepted. I removed the chicken and dropped the vegetables in there. I will say again that the curry was very good. I can recommend the bread option if you’re willing to explore something outside of the usual rice and noodles variety.
This place is worth a visit for sure. There were some very pretty fish in a tank at the entrance for us to enjoy during our stay.

Everything about this place is amazing! The food was so delicious and the atmosphere was modern, but cozy. The owner is so incredibly kind and friendly!! I tried the brisket phò and it was genuinely the best phò I’ve ever had. The flavor was so rich and clean, it was so refreshing! I highly recommend that everyone tries this place!

THE best pho restaurant in Sonoma County! Such incredible chicken spring rolls. The chicken was really nicely marinated and cooked. Peanut sauce was wonderful. I ordered chicken pho. The chicken was nicely flavored and thinly cut. The flavors were really awesome. Service was great. I had my service dog with me, and they were very accommodating and even brought her some water. Kind and attentive staff. Owner came by to say. Can’t recommend enough!

Just dropped in at our way from the theater, on a cold night, as soon as we entered the restaurant we felt like we were part of family. We met the owners, it was comfortable for large groups and couples as well as children. Not noisy and the food was absolutely fabulous. I recommend it to anybody who is interested in good food or who misses Asian cuisine
