We ate at Pho So 1 in Lake Forest and ordered a few dishes, including brisket pho, BBQ spring rolls (#4), vermicelli bowl (#89), and #57. The total came to about $72, which felt a bit pricey—but the food was tasty.

Excellent experience here at Pho So 1 in Lake Forest Dr and Trabuco Rd.
Party of three on a Sunday around 3:15 pm. The restaurant was not busy at all. Very clean inside, very neat and organized. Lots of parking available.
Staff were kind and welcoming. This was my first time at a Pho restaurant, and yes… I am a fan now.
Prices were excellent, and the food quantity was plenty. The quality of the food was superb! Everything was so tasty and delicious

We ordered pho soup with raw steak & meatball, and grilled pork vermicelli!
– Pho was hot and fresh. Soup base was ok, but it seems to be chicken broth more than beef broth. Still good to me
– they gave a plate of bean sprout/herbs with plastic wrap on top, small portion. I asked for one more and they were happy to give me more
– I like the vermicelli more as the grilled pork was tasty! It came with egg rolls as well

Tried this place for the first time. Felt this place was just average. Service was good,place was clean. Ordered beefball pho. Wife had the ban mi sandwich with pork. She said it was just so-so, nothing special. My pho soup was decent, very little beef balls cut in half, and the noodles was not chewy and broken. Good pho noodles should be slightly chewy and long but not this place. Don’t think will be going back.

Spacious new pho restaurant. We were surprised to see the no msg sign…. like how? But so great!. The service is quick and kind. You order sitting down but pay at the counter after you finish eating. We all enjoyed our food. They had real sriracha. We will definitely be back. Only complaint from the kids was the old cultural music. Please change to a more modern style for a fun environment. Hahaha…

The owner/manager was extremely welcoming and told me a few things about his origin and how he grew up in EU, London specifically.
The food was great and put me on a path now to adding Pho into my line up of (highly) desired dishes. I loved the experience! The taste was subtly excellent!

Pho So 1 has been such a tried and true restaurant for me and it has taken me out of the trenches more times than I can count. Despite inflation, the prices are still decently priced and the food is always amazing.
The food is always ready when you order it and it’s always piping hot. I absolutely love ordering pho with rare steak, well done brisket & flank. Nothing has ever disappointed me here.
