Love the food, have been a loyal regular tipping always so that the business can still be around. But, recently it’s been very inconsistent. Barley got any vegetables and didn’t get my garden salad.

Food Safety Issue, Poor Handling

I found a worm in my food.

The restaurant did apologize, but the response did not feel sincere and was followed by a refusal to issue a refund because the order was placed through a third-party app. I was told they would notify the app and that I would need to request the refund directly from the third party which i need to spend more of my time to deal with it.

I’m not sure what they expected me to say in response. Emphasizing that they’ve been in business for 10 years and have never seen this before felt dismissive and left me feeling as though the concern was being brushed aside.

Finding a worm in a meal is a serious food safety issue. An apology without accountability or meaningful resolution does not build trust. This experience was deeply disappointing, and I will not be returning.

Their PHO is fantastic! Their broth is great but they also have condiments already at the table to flavor it up more! Their chili oil always fresh which is a good sign. I love their rare beef and meatballs combo pho, and their pork eggrolls are so meaty, tasty and fried to perfection. Their drunken noodles dish is also amazing and I’ve tried some of their sushi rolls as well. Service is very attentive and friendly, owner is friendly, and the place is just super cute and cozy and comfortable! Definitely recommend if you live in the West Des Moines or Waukee area for a convenient pho spot!

Overpriced.

Your food is overpriced for simple dish like fried rice and water. $25.35? Really??

I’m giving y’all one star because I have been eating at way too many Pho restaurants around the U.S to know how much they should cost. Even your simple pho noodle bowl is expensive. Your food is not even plentiful to match the price.

No wonder your location was empty while I was there.

Try to adjust your pricing like any normal pho restaurant. Your restaurant is in Des Moines IA of all places and not in NYC, SF, Seattle or Miami.

We went with family before Homecoming and weren’t sure what to try. The server was so wonderful and suggested many things that she liked and knew were popular. We tried the Bang Bang chicken, avocado Rangoon, pad Thai and the beef Pho. All were incredible. The cocktails were also delicious. We will be back!

The food was edible but very lacking! We’ve eaten at many Vietnamese restaurants and this one well let’s say American sports bar trying to be Vietnamese. The pho was bland and salty. The bun was also bland with the meats not being marinated but just fried on a hamburger grill. The house bun (fish sauce) was more like eating a dill pickle than actual sauce and that’s not even that hard to make. You also have to ask for the traditional peanut sauce for the spring rolls. Idk what it was they served with them kind of a mashup between peanut fish and hot sauce. We won’t be going back!

We picked up about 80 dollars of food. The curry was flavorless, the lobster was dry as a bone, and I decided to take it back to the store it was so low quality. The chef spoke to me and tried defending the dish saying their was nothing wrong with it then said “I must not have the pallete for this kind of flavor”. I’ve cooked homemade asian cuisine that is better than here, I’ve sampled numerous Asian dishes including chickens feet and larb. Will never go here again after being insulted so badly. Service, food, and overall customer satisfaction is 0. Overpriced and under whelming.

We have been a number of times, and the food is ok, some things are better than others, but nothing has been great. I don’t reccomend ordering takeout, takes forever. We were told 15 minutes and ended up waiting an hour getting portions of our order brought out. Which led to warm food that got cold, wrong items, and missing dishes. The front of house staff were kind and very apologetic, it sounded like the chef was making food for the few in the restaurant ahead of our order. There are forsure better Thai takeout places in the metro that we will be ordering take out from now.
