We’re from SF, been eating Vietnamese food for 40 yrs. This place is delicious and the prices are great for the city. That said if you’re looking to be coddled and treated warmly then go find yourself an overpriced under-flavored whitewashed joint to feel good about. If you’re looking for great food with no frills eat here.

I’ve been to many Asian restaurants in NY & CT, but this place only once so far. Most CT Vietnamese restaurants are better than this place as the noodles weren’t cooked enough here, although they gave you a decent amount of meat which however probably isn’t antibiotic-free. The wait staff was very nice however.

I hate to be so negative, but the Pho is.. very bad. The broth is EXTREMELY salty – all you taste is salt. It tastes like you’re eating noodles in hot soy sauce. And the noodles must be overcooked, because they basically disintegrate when you try to eat them. I couldn’t eat most of it.
The dumplings were fine.

If you want Vietnamese go some where else. The food is priced cheap but you really get what you pay for and in NYC there are way too many options that offer good food. This is not one of them. Avoid.

Food is disgusting! This place used to have great tasting food. Not sure what happened. The grilled pork chop dish I ordered literally had a layer of slim covering it. So gross and disgusting, it is literally inedible. $13 bucks down the drain and I’m starving! Never coming here again

One of many authentic Vietnamese cooking you can find around manhattan. very reasonable prices, and super tasty vietnamese cuisine. This is my favorite one so far compared to 5 other vietnamese places i’ve tried around downtown manhattan.

This is my favorite pho delivery spot in NYC. They are quick, get the order right, and the pho is good. I usually have to add some extra basil, cayenne pepper, and chili oil (or powder) to it, but that’s a few cents worth of ingredients to make an almost perfect pho. I wish they made a spicy pho as well, they would then likely be the best pho place in lower Manhattan period.

Now called Mamak, this is probably the best Pho spot I have had in a very very long time. Highly recommend, good price and great food. Try the Fried Calamari too.
