Stopped by during a hot day.
Oddly enough I ordered pho.
Went with their #13 which is their special with all the fixings.
Came hungry left full and dripping of sweat. I wasn’t complaining though.
I really enjoyed my meal.
Especially the iced water with a sliver of lime.
The pho, was perfect and very flavorful.
I was helped by a two man team.
Friendly, efficient and quick.
In and out in a blast and am in a food coma as leave this review.

Phở San Marcos has become one of my absolute favorite spots. Their food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and incredibly comforting. I recently traveled to Vietnam and tried phở at several local restaurants, and while those experiences were wonderful, I genuinely prefer the phở here. The broth at Phở & Marcos is richer, the portions are generous, and everything tastes thoughtfully prepared. The service is warm and attentive, and the overall experience keeps me coming back. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic, well‑made Vietnamese cuisine.

The restaurant from the outside seems very clean and neat. The food (to-go order) was okay. The pho was good (the basil they gave was black and wilted) but the egg rolls were completely overdone. I didn’t notice until I got to my destination to eat. The lettuce they gave me was wilted. The service was … very matter of fact. I asked for chopsticks and the man glared at me and told me to ask the other worker. I then asked the other worker and he told me “they’re in the bag” and proceeded to put his hands in the bag to look. Surprise, surprise…. There were none in there. A simple “oh, I’m sorry. Let me get you some” would have been great but I was made to feel like a nuisance.

Their “hủ tiếu” noodle was not “hủ tiếu” but vermicelli aka “miến.” Sauce for bún tôm nướng wasn’t authentic even though everyone working in the restaurant are Vietnamese. The Viet people working there were very kind and welcoming.

Fast service, pho delish. Spring rolls were lacking; half shrimp pieces rice noodle lettuce, that’s it. I’ve had better, but the peanut sauce at least was good. Had to go outside and look at the window display to see what boba tea were offered. If go back for the pho but but the spring rolls.

My fiancé and I come and dine here every chance we get when we are in San Marcos. Michael, Nikki and staff were super friendly and extremely helpful and always full of smiles.
The food was flavorful and delicious. I had the Bun Bo Hue and my fiancé had the rare steak pho and it was huge and they were generous on the proteins! The veggies were fresh. Michael remembers what my fiancé order better than he can remember what he usually orders.
The ambiance was pleasant and comforting as it should be for an eatery. The restaurant was clean. The decor was awesome.
