My new favourite spot in Durham. I’ve been on the hunt for a good Vietnamese restaurant in durham for many years. Food was delicious and service was awesome. The atmosphere was nice, clean and spacious.
The gentleman in the kitchen came out to explain ingredients in dishes we had questions about, and also offered us some great chilli topping/side we weren’t aware was available. He was very friendly. The gentleman at the front was also very nice.
We ordered the shrimp and vegetable stir fry (tom xao rau cai) with extra shrimp, which was delicious and a good portion size. The hue style spicy house soup with pork & beef (no blood pudding), and the seafood with rice noodle soup. All dishes were a good portion and very tasty. Good amount of meat in all the dishes.
My family and I were very pleased with the service and quality of food.
100% recommend coming here and we will be repeat customers!!

My parents live in Ajax, and this is their (and my) favourite place to go. My family and I have been going to pho restaurants my entire life- all over Toronto, Houston, California, and beyond when visiting relatives- and this is easily one of the best we’ve ever been to. The food is consistently amazing: full of flavour, fresh, and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is always clean, bright, and welcoming. The owner is incredibly kind and hardworking. Most recently, I brought my parents here to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and the owner (I believe his name is Sam) went out of his way to make my dad feel special. My dad was really touched and couldn’t stop telling everyone how warmly he was treated. Highly recommend this restaurant.

A true local gem. I have been here many times and never been disappointed. An excellent spot for Vietnamese, with great Pho. My personal favourite is the noodle salad. We haven’t explored the generic Asian side of the menu but can vouch for the Vietnamese portion.
Another favourite is the spring rolls. Both the deep fried and fresh rolls are to die for.

I am new to eating Pho. And I found this gem close to home. The gentleman who worked on Saturday was amazing. He checked in on me an offered to get me anything that I needed. The food came out delicious, presented beautifully and reasonably priced. And in this cold cold winter a hot bowl of Pho is well needed.

Flavour – every sip of broth was as good as the first sip
Broth – lighter than I’m used to, but was able to taste more flavours
Meat – tender, 3 huge ribs
Veggies – clean, crunchy sprouts, so fresh
Portion – so much GOOD food for $20
I was already full, but couldn’t stop drinking the soup.
Clean and bright restaurant.
The owner as so welcoming and attentive. He made the hot sauce too, hopefully he sells it one day. The eye opener was the garlic that he made. After a couple of bites of noodles, meat and broth, I ate a bite of the garlic side and found it so refreshing with a light sweetness.

The food was outstanding in every way. We had fresh beef rolls and the rib bone pho. The server took the order promptly and the food came quickly. I’ll be coming back.

Hands down my favorite pho place in Durham! It is ALWAYS so hot and fresh and the staff is very friendly. They go above and beyond to make my pho the way I personally like it and every time its perfect! Ps. Try the garlic at the table 😉
