Been twice – the spot for Pho in Chuck! This place is catching on, was told they had lines out the door even on holidays. First time had spring rolls and Chicken Pho. Solid, but I’d personally skip the chicken pho and get the beef options – far more flavorful! Second Time- I got the V4 with flank and brisket. It was delicious and more filling than the precious bowl of chicken pho. My wife got the V14 – Duck and egg noodles. This is $27 but what a decadent dish! It’s savory, has pork dumplings and about half the whole crispy duck! Huge, hearty pieces. Given the amount of duck, id say the price is worth it.
The Owner even came over to chat and she visited many tables to chat with many frequent regulars.

Note: very small and constantly busy. It’s hard to get a seat! May have to wait or settle for bar or counter seating by the door. Hard to fault them on this when they are so successful its constantly full!

Will definitely return and order other noodle and curry items on the menu to perhaps upgrade to my very rarely given 5 stars.

If you like Vietnamese and Thai food this is the place to go. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and you can see that the kitchen is too. I have never had so much tender beef in my pho. The staff are the nicest people, making you feel welcome. They have recently received the license so sake, beer and wine are coming soon. I noticed 3 picnic tables that had recently been delivered making me thing they are adding an outdoor space. I should have inquired. I will definitely return on my next trip to Charleston.

A bit over priced, $20 for a Pho:

The food here is excellent and the staff is genuinely friendly. The young man who served us was polite and attentive, and the owner came by to check in, which made the experience feel personal. Even when I missed a call, they returned it right away, which shows real professionalism.

I’ve eaten at many Vietnamese restaurants, especially in Madison Heights, Michigan, where there are more than eight to ten places to choose from. I’ve also tried several restaurants here in Charleston. The flavor here is very good, but I have to point out that the pricing feels high. Twenty dollars for a pho is more than what I’ve paid at other Vietnamese spots, even in areas with a lot of competition.

The food and service are strong enough that I still give it five stars, but I do think the pricing could be a bit more reasonable. Overall, it’s a great place with kind people and a warm atmosphere.

Been wanting to try this place out for weeks and finally had a chance today. Highly recommended! Good lunch portions. We ordered Pad Thai, Pho (V4), Fried Rice, Green Curry and Papaya Salad. All the food was great and quite authentic. Pho was as close to what we tasted in Vietnam with flavorful and soft meats. Pad Thai had a good amount of sauce, the kids gobbled up their fried rice. Papaya salad had a good amount of tanginess. Chefs in the kitchen really know their stuff! Even their takeout containers deserve a mention as they are quite innovative. Will be visiting again!

The Com Dac Biet was delicious!! Highly recommended! I also ordered the Pho to go a few days earlier and it is the best pho on this side of town. I know because I have ate pho at every single Vietnamese restaurant in Charleston. Picture below is the COM DAC BIET!

Repeat visit:
Came to eat inside for dinner. Tried the rare CHS offering of Bun Rieu Deeper savory broth than Phuong’s lighter broth take. Plenty of large moist real-crabmeat balls. Small intimate seating area but Mrs. Tee hopes to expand to patio or even past that one day Servers are still in training, so give them grace. Mrs. Tee is really open to feedback. Given that everyone has different tastebuds, if there’s a tip that you have about an offering that can boost menu sales or accommodate the general palette, she’ll be all ears. She let us know that she cuts items that don’t sell in 3 months Soooo if you have a favorite dish, make it known!!! Loved the large tall noodle soup to-go containers!! It means you get a good amount compared to dine-in bowls
Very cute and wide selection of alcoholic+non-alcoholic drinks

Initial visit:
Was craving some snacking food so tried out a few appetizers to-go. FYI: the vietnamese fried rice wrapper roll is not spicy. The orange color is just from the rice wrapper’s dye. Reheats awesome in the microwave for a chewy texture. Different texture experience than Phuong’s and Pho No. 1’s vietnamese fried rice wrapper rolls, which have a more flaky/crunchy exterior. Krab rangoon filling was fresh/smooth and right ratio of components to cream cheese. Not dried out filling nor overpowered by cream cheese to othe ingredients. Large wings, not the puny ones. Slightly firm soft fried tofu. Not spongy dried out tofu. Loved the large to-go containers.

I love this place. They’re one of the only places (if not the only place) in Charleston that uses fresh wide rice noodles. The flavors are perfect and service is always great.

Great lunch. We’ve been hearing so much about this new restaurant we felt lucky to snag a table. We both tried and loved the Massaman Curry and fried ice cream. Everyone around us were enjoying their dishes so looking forward to going back to try the rest of the menu. Friendly service!

Ventured over from Mount Pleasant to check out this spot, which just opened in October 2025. Overall, pretty solid! The curries are well-executed, and as many other reviews mention, the owner is very attentive and genuinely interested in customer feedback.

Many of the signature dishes are just $11 for lunch compared to $16 at dinner — a great value for the quality. My only small gripe is that there’s an extra charge for paying with a credit card. I understand that credit card fees can be frustrating for small businesses, but as a customer who rarely carries cash, it does take a bit of the shine off an otherwise great dining experience, especially when most restaurants have moved away from this practice.

Amazing!!! I just picked up to go Pho for the first time and was happily greeted by the staff. They wrapped my pho up so neatly in this cute reusable bag and had the noodles and chicken separated from the broth and vegetables to keep it fresh. This is the best Pho I’ve ever had. Go try this place.
