The food was fire. Price was good. The server was very warm, helpful and attentive without being too much. The decor is okay but im not there for the decor! 100% go check this place out. I got the steak pho and it was so flavorful. Ill be back for sure.

The pho is excellent, broth is refreshing and warm. The beef steak were high quality; they weren’t thin and poor. They put a lot of tripe here and it was delicious. The egg rolls were really crunchy and crispy plus the sweet sauce is notable. The passion fruit tea tasted like motherland. The service was definitely great, the lady was attentive and was quick. Idk about the entrance at the front you have to be careful don’t to bump anyone walking through the curtain.

The customer service is atrocious. I walked in with my partner and waited to be seated for 5 minutes. I did not see a host and decided to sit down. 5 minutes later the bald male server came to yell at my partner and I to get up. He started to fuss at us in Vietnamese. While I understand his frustration that is no way to talk to paying customers. I have been a loyal customer for years but because of this interaction, I refuse to eat there again.

I’m a regular customer ordering pho for lunch. This time I ordered for the family for dinner. They totally messed up my takeout order. The shrimp noodle soup came with pho broth which is not the correct broth for this type of soup. The bag that came with my phone didn’t have the usual bean sprouts and basil. Instead they replaced it with cabbage? If changes need to be made, let the consumer be aware beforehand instead of getting home with order and being very disappointed!

Our food was delicious, cooked well and very flavorful. Food came out to the table timely.
My kids first time trying Boba, they loved it.
No kids menu, I was told we could get smaller portion of any dish, but they came out full size and charged as such.
Really liked the atmosphere, felt like I was somewhere else for an hour.

The most unpleasant thing a restaurant can do to its diners is take the check in the middle of the meal. Every time I have gone they take the check without asking the customer and it is unpleasant for me the right thing to do is to let people enjoy their food and ask if they are ready for their check. I also wish that the clear noodle could be changed because I honestly don’t like it, I prefer the spicy beef soup noodle and the waiter told me they can’t change it but I can order a side.

When I came to Pho Orchid, I thought I wasn’t at a Pho restaurant…I thought I was at a fancy restaurant! The decor looked so nice and cool with the dark blue lights. Our server was nice to us as well. My dad and I ordered a large “Pho Dac Biet,” which is translated as the Pho Special ($12.25) and a large “Pho Do Bien,” which is translated as the Seafood Pho ($11.25). For drinks, we just got one Hot Tea ($1.50) and one “Nuoc Tranh Day,” which is translated as Passion Fruit Lemonade ($5.??). The Pho dishes tasted amazing. Broths were fresh and portions were reasonable. For the Seafood Pho, they actually had various seafood meats in the dish instead of only shrimp like other pho restaurants provide. The Passion Fruit Lemonade was also delicious. Even though I live all the way in Gretna, I’d definitely come back here if I’m craving pho!

This is my goto for pho in the New Orleans area. The food is great, the portions are generous, and the price is reasonable. I also really like the atmosphere here. I did have a little difficulty understanding the server, but we figured it out.

They are rude when taking orders by phone. Absolutely no manners and have no idea what customer service means. He answers like he didn’t want to work there or be bothered with. Plenty of places that sell pho where I can spend my money.
