The Pho soup base here was exceptional, well-balanced and flavored! The ratio of beef balls, brisket, tripe and noodles was good! Their noodles had nice thickness and bounce to it, the lime slices could’ve been bigger than a 1/2 of slice!

Downside, their bathroom is in back kitchen and floor was VERY GREASY!

Overall, would recommend, just don’t use their bathroom

Excellent service & food menu.
Very polite & fast.
Cash discount available as well!

Great local restaurant to eat at.
Very friendly staff. Clean & comfortable seating.
Went during evening dinner.
Can get quite busy sometimes, maybe difficult to find a seat during busy hours. Waited about 2-5 minutes to have a sit down table for 4 people.
Plenty of options to choose from the menu. Very delicious! Would visit again!

Good authentic Vietnamese food. We went as family of four: the portions were good and we were able to sample both noodles (with and without spices) and rice dishes. The grilled chicken and pork were rightly seasoned and we didn’t feel “heavy” after dinner.

Two things I’d call out is their washroom facility is in the kitchen, and you’d have to past their cooking station and a big boiling pot of soup stock while navigating the narrow passage. Second is parking is a bit more limited. There is an underground garage (not sure if it’s well-lit) and free street parking at night.

Update:

Still an amazing and authentic bowl of pho. Chicken wings were terrifically crispy as well! The fresh rolls with nem nuong could have been more flavorful and wrapped tighter.

Original:

This restaurant is more than “OK,” it’s an absolute gem. This cozy spot delivers an exceptional bowl of pho and delicious cơm tấm.

The pho was aromatic and flavorful. The generous portions of rare beef and brisket were tender. It reminded us of how far pho has come in the city, and how even a few spots in Toronto offer stronger flavors than ones we had back home in Saigon.

We ordered the cơm tấm to go and I was surprised. Not only is the chicken perfectly seasoned, but I have never seen a Vietnamese restaurant provide more chicken than rice, and I’m not complaining about it.

This restaurant offers great value for money. It hits a sweet spot of affordability without sacrificing flavor and quality. Very friendly service as well!

There’s free underground parking and 5% off if you pay by cash.

Side note: the bathroom is shared with the staff and through the kitchen which I found a bit odd.

Cảm ơn!

Came here with a friend and we got the fried shrimp rolls, Vietnamese condensed milk iced coffee, bun bo hue, and the pho house special.

My bun bo hue was okay, it didnt have the signature pigs blood or pig trotters. It only had like 2 types of meat. The broth was also lacking. If you love bun bo hue, i would not get it here. My friend likes the pho house special. The broth wasnt too salty and had a nice sweetness to it.

The fried shrimp rolls were okay, the shrimps were tiny. My friend and I also thought it was going to be like drip coffee with condensed milk on the bottom of the cup, but the drink came mixed already.

The servers were nice. If you want to use the washroom, you’d have to go through the kitchen. There was one issue, we had a couple of gnats or fruit flies that were always flying around us when we were eating, which was annoying.

The staff were incredibly friendly and gave great advice on what to order. Their recommendations were spot on, the food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. You can tell they really care about their customers and want you to enjoy the best dishes they offer. The pho was fresh, comforting, and perfectly seasoned.

If you’re not sure what to get, just ask them, they truly know their menu and will guide you to something amazing. Highly recommend this place for authentic, tasty Vietnamese food!

Haven’t had it in-store but multiple times UberEats ( we live in East End ). To my surprise this is very delicious, authentic, flavourful and good portions!

Their rice dishes & grilled meats are delicious, flavourful and Tender! I enjoyed the broth of their Pho as well, you can taste the star anise, and cinnamon, they clarified the broth very nicely and its not too fatty.

excited to eat this again and will make it my regular spot!

Pho Ok is a cozy and welcoming spot with a comforting menu. The pho was warm and enjoyable though not the best broth I’ve had. I really liked the spring rolls as they had a nice crunch and flavour. The wontons were also quite good. The fresh rolls were light and refreshing and hit my craving. The location is convenient which makes it a good option if you are in the area and in the mood for something simple and satisfying.

I wish this was closer to downtown because the pho was pretty legit. Broth was great, and they used good quality beef. The spring rolls were really good. Perfect balance of meat and veggies with a whole shrimp inside. Very impressed with this place and I will definitely come back.
