I was desperate for flavor that didn’t have beans or fried here in Laredo. Honestly, the Pho isn’t bad. Service wasn’t there. We never got refills on our drinks and were the only ones in the restaurant.

My boyfriend and I decide to stop by to get Asian food because we are usually driving on the road in a semi- truck and limited to certain foods. He order a Vietnamese sandwich and I got a small pho. On the menu it said 13.99 for a small & 14.99 for a large and the sandwich 7.99 . The only pho that costs more than the others is the combination pho (which I didn’t get). When we paid, it came out more expensive than we thought. They charged me 15.99 for a small size pho (MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE LARGE) and the small was the size for a CHILD (not exaggerating) & 8.99 for the sandwich. The front guy said to wait twenty mins for the manager to show up to handle the situation but we are truck drivers and limited on time so I’m just leaving this review . (Mind you, I never leave reviews) Unacceptable and unprofessional. Go somewhere else guys.

This is the large size. Five pieces of meat and very tiny. $15. Service was horrible and they had no basil.

Also beware, menu says $14.99 for the soup and they will try and bait and switch with a dollar up charge at the counter. Manager will argue with you and then tell you not to come back. Avoid this place, there is much better pho in town.

Food wasn’t bad. My wife and I looked over the menu at home, picked the soups we wanted, $10.95 each. We drove to the restaurant, my wife got down to get the order, and she came back into the car to tell me it came out to $38 or so. I told her to go back and see what the deal was because it showed they were only $10.95 on the menu. She went back in, asked for the receipt, and they refused to give it to her. They showed her a new menu with the prices being about $15 now. I understand the prices have gone up on everything, but they really need to update their menu online. Had we known it was going to come out to almost double, we probably wouldn’t have ordered. Aside from that, the order was tied inside a used HEB bag.

Disappointed is an understatement with the customer service that you receive at Pho Oi. While food quality matters (and even that is questionable at this location at times) customer service should be the most important part of running any business, and unfortunately that was completely lacking here.
The manager/owner is completely unwelcoming, which made the experience uncomfortable and frustrating from start to finish. No matter how good the food might be, poor service overshadows everything. And boy, is she rude!! One time I went and heard her talking about how expensive rent is, and that they are barely surviving. Well maybe if she had a more welcoming environment and basic respect for her customers she would be able to draw in more customers. I won’t be returning.

This place doesn’t even deserve a single star!!! The owner is SIMPLY A RUDE PERSON. No wonder this place is always empty. She just told me to educate my kids because they were grabbing the soy sauce and were going to “dirty them”. That isn’t a way to talk to your customers if they are the ones keeping the place open. Plus they give you one napkin per person, I have never seen a restaurant that does this. NEVER going back to this place. Not worth your money. Pho 68 on Del Mar has never treated me this way and their staff is actually nice.

It was horrible and I found something in my food. This is a picture and make your own opinion. It clearly looks to me like a leg of a bug which I brought it up to her and she stated it was part of meat. I paid $45 and left. I didn’t even eat anything from them.

Being a picky eater, my son doesn’t eat pho however, he gobbled this one down and even asked for more. The broth was the perfect temperature and the noodles delicious. Staff was friendly and informative.

The server was very friendly. I really enjoyed the Thai tea with mixed fruit coconut jelly Boba. The Pho was OK. Something lacked in the broth. The sides of the bean sprout were skimpy, there was no basil, and the jalapeño seemed to be cut a day or two early. The lime was fresh. There are only a few restaurants that serve Pho in Laredo. If I were back in the area, I would try it again just to see if the cook was just having an OK kind of day. Sometimes, better luck is the next time.
