This has been my go to place for a quick solo lunch when I’m running errands around the Katy area. I hate that we don’t have really good Asian food around here but found this place and it’s actually pretty decent! It’s not the best but it’s good! It’ll help suffice my cravings for Bun Bo Hue. I’ve been here maybe 5 times in the past 6 months. I like that fact that they have the special for $14.95 during weekdays. You can pick between pho or bun bo hue, tea or soda and either an eggroll or spring roll. All this for under $20 with tip?! That’s a pretty good deal! Especially now when eating out so expensive!
The bun bo hue was nice and hot when it came out. Love the crisp veggies with it. Only complaint was the spring roll.. it was just way too much vermicelli! lol I need more veggies and herbs in it but still good nonetheless. But I’ll opt for an eggroll next time. Overall, I enjoyed this place. Will keep coming back for this special when I’m out and about.

Weekday lunch special is such a great deal of either pho or bun bo hue, with egg roll or spring roll, and a drink. Absolutely love the flavor and aroma of their bun bo hue, and the shredded pickled radish/carrot that comes with the egg roll is fresh, crunchy, and tasty.

I’m a regular here and I usually have dinner here with my kids on weekends and pick up on weekdays and honestly my only regret is not knowing about this place sooner. Their pho is excellent, the soup is clear and tasty, and their steak is far beyond my expectation for a vietnamese restaurant. I dont know why there are bad reviews, if you are around Katy area this is a good place for you and family, you won’t be disappointed ( too bad i only have a picture of their steak)

The food was honestly disappointing. The spring rolls were very greasy and didn’t have any distinctive flavor definitely not as special as they were advertised to be. The fresh spring rolls tasted bland and only came with two shrimp, some lettuce, and rice vermicelli. The dipping sauce was weak and forgettable, lacking depth and missing common additions like peanuts or pickled vegetables that could have improved the overall taste.
The pho was the biggest letdown. Based on YouTube reviews, I was expecting fresh, wide, flat noodles, but the restaurant served dry pho noodles instead. The broth was light and lacked richness and aroma, and while the meat was okay, it wasn’t anything memorable.
The broken rice (cơm tấm) looked nice and was presented similarly to what you’d see in Vietnam, but the flavors didn’t live up to the hype or match what was shown online. Overall, it wasn’t worth the try and fell far short of expectations.

Pho Oh Yeah is such a great spot. The pho is rich and flavorful, portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The egg rolls and spring rolls are fresh and delicious too. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Highly recommend if you’re craving good Vietnamese food

We enjoyed our lunch and the owner Anh Viet Thao was so nice and talked to us the whole time we were there. He gave us free drinks, hot tea and wanted ua to try his delicious shaken beef. Will be back when we visit again
