Food, service and even the vibe were all great! They improved a lot from their first location. I liked how clean the entire resto was.

However, the price for DIY rice roll didn’t make much sense to pay $35+tax and tip.
Veggies and noodles are so cheap so probably $30 for the thinly sliced beef. I’d never pay $35+tax and tip for such a dish like this so a pass for me.

Other dishes were all great! I liked how their menu had so much pictures and so much variety. It would be nice if their drink had options to omit sweetener/sugar.

I highly recommend this place! Come around 5pm for dinner because if you come later than this the store gets packed and theres waiting line plus parking lot gets so full too.

Overall a great Vietnamese restaurant, much more upscale than the typical pho places, plus some cool dishes.
Service was excellent, restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and clean.
Vietnamese iced coffee was really good.
The bbq chicken with sticky rice squares was delightful. The coconut cake dessert with pandan crisp was really delicious.
We also ordered the soft shell crab seafood noodles, would be better if the crab comes on the side on a separate plate, as the crispy texture quickly became soggy because it was sitting in the soup.
I also found the soup a bit on the “slimy” side, probably from the starch of the noodles.
The pho we ordered was good but the beef was a bit tough and soup was not very flavourful.
But we will return to try other dishes.

We’ve been coming to this Vietnamese restaurant in Etobicoke for about four years now, usually at least once a month, and it has consistently been one of our favorite spots. The food is always incredible, but what truly stands out is the service and hospitality.

Recently I brought my whole family — including our dog — and we had called ahead to ask if dogs were allowed. They kindly let us know that their outdoor patio is dog-friendly, and when we arrived they went out of their way to make us comfortable. They even asked us to wait just a minute so they could turn on the gas heaters and warm up the patio, then set up a table specifically for us during the busy lunch hour.

Throughout the meal, the staff checked on us regularly to make sure everything was okay and that we were comfortable outside. They were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and accommodating, which made the whole experience feel special.

And of course, the food was absolutely delicious as always — fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent every time we visit.

Places that combine amazing food with genuinely kind service are rare, and this restaurant nails both every single time. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food in Etobicoke, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely keep coming back for many more years.

The smell is already mouthwatering as you approach the main entrance. Great sign! Actual food did not disappoint! Enjoyed it all. Pho was tasty but a little disappointed that the broth was not hot enough to cook through all the slices of beef. Vermicelli portions are huge! Enough to share. Chicken and shrimp pad Thai is surprisingly one of the best I’ve tasted!
Sesame balls dessert stuffed with coconut ice cream in top of a birds nest is a must…. If you actually have room for it! Great service. Very accommodating to people with peanut and shellfish allergies.

If you haven’t visited Pho Ngoc Yen 2 in Etobicoke yet, you’re missing out on a local masterpiece. While their incredible Pho is the star of the show, did you know their original location gained massive fame for its stunning, traditional Vietnamese villa-style decor? They’ve brought that same commitment to authentic flavor and beautiful presentation right here to Etobicoke!

From the aromatic, 24-hour simmered broth to the freshest herbs, every bite feels like a trip to Vietnam. Whether you’re a brisket lover or a spicy Bun Bo Hue fan, this is your new go-to spot.

It was a beautiful location. Negative 20 outside but absolutely packed. The atmosphere, outfits and presentation was amazing. All the staff knew what they were doing and the food was amazing. My friend and I ordered the banh canh soft shell special and that was one of the best soft shell crabs I’ve had in years. A waitress as she was walking by advised us to leave the crab on the side as it would get mushy in the broth. Very impressed by their service and professionalism. The broth was extremely rich alot of complex flavours and spices. Top 3 banh canh cua for me. It is on the pricier end of things but I would go again. My one complaint would be they did not allow you to split the bill which I found was strange for only 2 people.

I ordered 4 dishes: Nha Trang rolls, fish noodle soup, snail noodle soup, and gỏi ba khía. The standout dish for me was the gỏi ba khía appetizer, it was flavorful and the most impressive item of the meal.

The other dishes were okay, acceptable for people who are not Vietnamese, but not very authentic in my opinion.

One thing that disappointed me was the service. My aunt had already paid for the bill, but I didn’t know and came to pay again. The staff still charged me without checking or informing me that the bill was already settled.

Overall, the food was not bad, but the service experience could definitely be improved.

Had a great experience at PHO NGOC YEN 2 in Etobicoke. The pho was amazing — rich, flavorful broth, fresh herbs, and generous portions. You can really taste the quality and care in the food.

Roger was our server and he was awesome. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Service like that keeps you coming back.

Definitely one of the best Vietnamese spots in the area. Highly recommend! Been here a few times and it’s always a hit and worth the 30 minute drive.
