The best pad sew eww I’ve ever had!!! The onions were caramelized like a master French chef. The pho has an extra layer of spice beyond just anise, maybe allspice or mace. Completely bowled over! New favorite!!!

I never write reviews, this will be my first one. This was our first time trying this place. My husband got the combination pho, and I got the veggie. My husbands was fine, but mine had bug larva in it. At first i thought it was just one, but it ended up being multiple.
We showed it to the waiter who got the manager. He took the veggie bowl off of our bill, and that was it. Honestly just disappointed, we really wanted to like this place.

I found myself in Olympia with a grumbly tummy. I happened upon Saigon Rendezvous by chance, with a parking spot right in front, so I took that as a sign to satiate my hungry stomach and try a new Thai place. I’m so glad I did.
The outside certainly presented itself with a “dive-y” feeling, but I kind of like dives. I find they may not look pretty, but they usually have great food.
Upon entry, the place was clean, roomy and plenty of available seating. The bathroom was clean and I always think that is a good sign!
The seats, however, were definitely NOT curvy, hippy, big butt girl friendly! In fact, they were down right uncomfortable. So, be forewarned!! IF you have curves, the seats are not friendly. I ended up sitting very forward in the metal chair, because my hips just could not tolerate the pain. Besides that one negative, the rest of the review is positive. Because, the food was delish!
I settled on my usual shrimp fresh rolls with peanut sauce and a bowl of chicken pho. The rolls were stuffed with yummy, crispy lettuce, carrots, sprouts, shrimp, cilantro, accompanied by a delicious peanut dipping sauce. Both were really tasty. The pho broth was sublime. So flavorful. The chicken in the soup was plentiful and the bean sprouts, lime and Thai basil were absolutely fresh. This meal made my grumbly tummy happy. The portions were substantial and enough for me to take half home to enjoy for my dinner! Yes! This is definitely a “dive” I plan on coming back to when I find myself in Olympia.
The waiter was sweet and attentive. He was also the chef. I am assuming he was the owner as well. Two thumbs up for Saigon Rendezvous!

Ordered the grilled pork w/ pork eggroll vermicelli bowl to go. They forgot to give me the fish sauce/dressing but the BBQ pork was SO GOOD- cooked just right, not too sweet, good smoky flavor. I’d go back, but check the to go order before you leave to make sure it’s complete.

The food was tasteless, the chicken was too salty, the rice was dry and had no spice. The ribs & rice was overcooked and burnt. Not a good experience. Waste of time and money. Not a favorable experience. I threw the food in the garbage.

Lots of space, few tables. It is up scale atmosphere but in a building that need to be updated.

Friendly server, chef delivered our Bhan Mi’s and was super friendly. Brought more sprouts and limes.

Reasonable price. Street parking.

This wasn’t our normal spot, but is a good back up.

Food is amazing. They have remodeled and new menu with many traditional Viet dishes. Xiu mai chao reminds me hometown so much. Meatball was soft and savory from the sauce. Pho broth was tasty. This pho is the best I have ever tried. And I always love their Thai tea. Waiter is nice and very welcoming everytime I come here.

We came in with fairly high expectations based on the most recent reviews….and left disappointed. The service is subpar at best, with the waiter forgetting my wives Diet Coke until nearly the end of our meal. The pho was greasy and the cook did not even use the correct noodles! The only saving grace to a 1 star review was that the egg rolls came out hot and tasted really good. It looks like not much has changed with some of the negative reviews, and we will not be coming back.
