I got takeout Pho Tái Nạm (rare beef + brisket) for $14.50, and the portion was huge! You can literally split it into two bowls — and that’s coming from someone who eats a lot . The broth had no strong MSG taste, not too sweet, just super flavorful and fragrant.
It was so good I ordered takeout again the very next day! I even got 15% off during happy hour — a bit less meat that time, but still totally worth it.
Definitely my new go-to pho spot now!
Pho N Mor Annex is a popular new Vietnamese Pho joint located on Valley blvd in the city of Alhambra. They have one other location in Commonwealth
avenue. This Pho store serve a breadth of food items such as Vermicelli, Broken rice, Appetizers, Vegan and Specialty.
Interior layout was spacious and naturally well lit. And culturally decorated.
I ordered a Vermicelli BBQ chicken noodle x egg and lychee green tea. Food was great, as well as the green tea. Prices were very fair. Staff were quite friendly and professional. Plenty of parking since they’re located in a large shopping plaza.
Overall, I enjoyed my dine-in experience and recommend you visit.
The beef pho, featuring tendon, was served in a large bowl, rich with flavorful soup, though the portion of noodles and meat was modest. On the other hand, the broken rice dish with grilled pork and shrimp paste skin was exceptional. The grilled pork stood out as one of the best, and the shrimp paste skin added a fresh and savory touch to the meal.
Service at Pho n Mor was exemplary, with our waitress providing friendly and attentive care throughout our visit. While the pho might not have been the best we’ve ever had, the overall quality of the food and the excellent service make Pho n Mor a noteworthy addition to the Valley’s culinary offerings.
They also offer an early bird promotion between 8 and 11am, offering a discount of 15% off. We plan to return for another attempt as we both hold a strong preference for Pho or Vietnamese cuisine.
We started with the Crispy Egg Rolls — perfectly golden and packed with flavor, then the Mini Vietnamese Crepe with whole shrimp and green onion — light, crispy, and so fun to eat.
The Pho Short Rib stole the show — rich broth and tender, fall-off-the-bone meat.
Next up, Shrimp Paste & BBQ Pork Broken Rice — smoky, savory perfection — and Grilled Shrimp with Chicken Vermicelli Noodles for that fresh, herby balance.
Finished it all with a refreshing Guava Green Tea
Definitely a hidden gem for Vietnamese comfort food in Alhambra
The staff was quick to give us menus, water, and bring our orders.
I ordered #46 (Com Tau Hu Ky with BBQ). I really enjoyed everything in the dish. On the side of the table, they had fish sauce. This was great because I could add the preferred amount.
