pretty authentic Vietnamese restaurant with good pho and summer rolls. beef broth is tasteful and chewy pho texture just the way i like it. summer rolls are huge, fresh veggie and big portion.

This is a great spot for pho, especially after a Costco run. There’s usually no wait, and the servers are quick and attentive. Today, I ordered #22 — wagyu beef with soft tendons. The tendons were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting. I can’t say for sure if the beef was truly wagyu, but it was sliced thin and pleasantly easy to chew. Overall, I left happy and satisfied, and I’d definitely come back for another bowl soon.

We were craving Pho but didn’t want to drive to our usual spot on Las Tunas and SG so we decided to come back here. So I placed an online order but made the mistake of not noticing they have two locations in Alhambra! Duh! I mistakenly placed an online order to the location on Valley next to the Big 5. The old Happy Harbor location. Fortunately, it only took about 10 minutes to get there and a friendly guy there gave me my order. We both enjoyed the Pho and will definitely get Pho here again. The location on Commonwealth was almost full at 3 in the afternoon so that has to say something.

FOOD WAS QUICK AND DELICIOUS!!! Nor the pho was just amazing the tables clean, chairs clean and the restroom CLEAN!!!!!!! The guy was nice and very very welcoming also gave me water fast took my order and once again amazing food will come back!!

Great & friendly service. Love that they have vegan options! The Vegetarian Hue is my fave! Spicy & hearty serving too! Had to bring half home! Mango spring rolls with the mango sauce our fam fave & vegetarian eggrolls. Tofu mushroom rolls with that peanut sauce as well. Very tasty food! Generous with condiments. We love their Thai iced tea & Taro coconut smoothie with boba is a must try!

Got in little late & decided to UberEATS some food from this “new” Vietnamese restaurant. Flavors pretty solid but not best execution I’ve had.

TASTE:
Garlic Noodle w/ Shaken Beef was executed ok. The beef being filet mignon was not as tender as expected, but not so bad. Has a more tame savory black pepper flavor with just a hint of sweetness. The noodles seemed either a little too al dente or maybe somewhat stale or old. Garlic flavor was a little too weak but not a bad flavor overall. There’s green & red bell peppers as well as cilantro.
Spicy Basil Chicken w/ Rice was the winner in this meal. Very well seasoned & flavorful. Savory, but not overly salty & actually quite spicy as you continue to eat. Glad the rice was not overcooked & pairs well with the very flavorful sauce. There’s green & red bell peppers as well as cilantro in this one as well.
Both entrees come with a little romaine lettuce side salad with tomatoes & pickled radish & carrots. Lightly sweet, vinegary mayo dress dressing which I liked. I did not like the ends of the romaine hearts being in there. They should always be discarded.
Everything was overly oily/greasy to the point you can just feel it all in your lips as you keep eating. At least it’s all quite flavorful since it’s really bad when it’s all oily & lacking in flavor.
Everything was quite hot when it arrived. Did not have to reheat anything. I do live close to this restaurant though.

All the food was packed well & I like that they gave garlic chili sauce which pairs well with these foods.
They are located in that somewhat new strip mall right across Costco off of Commonwealth & Date. You can enter on either of those streets. There’s a shared parking lot which is usually easy to find a spot in. But it’s still usually busy in there since the parking lot is not really big enough for all the businesses there.
Food was not a complete fail & flavors were mainly solid so I’m not opposed to getting food here again. Plus I’m just so close to it as well.

The pho is so good!!! The bone broth tastes delicious (no msg). It definitely cooked over 8-10+ hours. I ordered the short rib pho. Very comforting:) I’ll come back for more.
