Please come here – the Pho was prob the best we’ve had near Dallas so far.
Pho:
The broth is super balanced and has a flavor profile that tastes more than bone broth + salt. Absolutely delightful we came across this pho place.
I also got the chili oil that made it spicy but my husband just ate it as it came bc it was THAT good.
Service:
Steven our server was also very funny and kind and the food came out quickly. Very attentive but also gives you your space.

This family restaurant has a nice quiet atmosphere. The owners are extremely nice and everything on the menu is made from scratch and it shows. The steamed chicken dumplings melt in your mouth. The beef broth used in the pho is prepared for 24 hrs without any short cuts. The flavors and freshness of everything really shows. This is a great little Vietnamese gem of a restaurant.

Came for a late lunch Saturday 3pm. Just ordered 2 dishes took 25-30 mins to come (store was empty so don’t know why it took long). My girlfriends soup was missing the leg bone so the waitress brought it after in a small bowl. It was clearly microwaved because the middle was still cold to the touch. Also my girlfriends soup noodles were all cut up so probably left overs (check picture)
I got the chicken broken rice and my chicken was clearly leftovers because they cut it up and it tasted old (I’ve never had chicken broken rice and the chicken was cut up already).

I come to Pho Midway 1-2 times a week for lunch! I have had a lot from the menu, but the P1 Pho is my go to. The service is great and food always comes out very quickly. I would recommend it to anyone if you want authentic, affordable and delicious Vietnamese.

I was excited to come here to have some Banh Xeo with my Pho, but unfortunately they said that the Banh Xeo is only seasonal and they didn’t have it which was disappointing. And confusing because I’ve never heard of any Vietnamese only eating it seasonally.
But I stayed and got their Pho Dac Biet. I always try the broth by itself first and their broth was very salty. It really didn’t have any other flavor. The redeeming thing is that they do give lots of meat and I thought the meat quality was good. Service was slow but they were a little bit busy. They only had one guy doing everything so not surprised.

Great pho. Great bun. Great banh mi. One of the better Vietnamese places in North Dallas. We loved it.
Crispy eggroll was a bit soft but good flavor.

The food here is decent, but my experience with the bun bo hue was disappointing. While the flavor was good, the rice noodles were mostly chopped/tore into very small, 1 to 2 cm pieces. I’ve never had this happen at any other pho restaurant before.

I love it! The music ambience is very chill. I love instrumental music and relaxed spaces. The food is amazing—my sister and I loved everything we ordered. The rice and shrimp egg rolls are the best! The waitress was very kind; if you’re reading this: good job! Walked in and stood at the register for 5 minutes while the owner and (I assume) his daughter carried on a conversation. No greeting, no eye contact—nothing. A couple walked in after me and were immediately welcomed with smiles and energy. Only then did someone glance at me and say, “Oh yes, welcome to you too.”
Waited 10 minutes for my food, which would’ve been fine—if I hadn’t walked out and seen not one, not two, but FOUR dead cockroaches right by the front door.
If that’s what’s visible to customers, I don’t want to imagine what’s behind the counter.
