I hope they do re open. This is my FAVOURITE place to get pho. The beef brisket is my order every time, the flavour is always consistent. They also have really good cold/fresh rolls whatever they are the shrimp, chicken or pork!
Good luck to anyone who is trying to recreate it because I bet you cant, Have tried to make it at home & it’s not even close to Pho Mac. Please Reopen

I recently had the best pho I’ve enjoyed in a while! The food is incredibly delicious, and the portion sizes are generous. Pho Mac Restaurant, located in Fort McMurray, is known for its authentic Vietnamese cuisine, especially its pho. The restaurant also offers vegetarian options, including Rice Noodle Soup with Tofu and Vegetables, Vegetarian Salad Rolls, and Veggie Spring Rolls served on Vermicelli. Overall, Pho Mac remains a top choice for Vietnamese food enthusiasts in the area. It has received praise for its flavorful dishes, clean environment, and friendly service.

The new pho restaurant that has just opened. Be prepared to wait a while, I think we were there for about an hour until we had our food, it did take a long time compared to what it should be. It was busy, and under staffed. I think it’s the best pho in town. Did seam like lots of noodles and not enough Cilantro maybe some room for improvement. The chilli oil was really good. The place itself is really nice inside, they did a pretty good job with a tile. There is some nice chill spots in there, it’ll be nice if they get a liquor license but currently they don’t have one. One downfall is, I don’t think it is wheelchair accessible as I did not see a ramp. Washrooms clean and nice.

Travelling for work into Fort McMurray and I wasn’t in the mood for anything greasy and was looking for some Vietnamese food.

Checked out the google reviews and found this gem of a place.

Ordered some chicken salad rolls and a vermicelli bowl. All I can say is wow, super awesome salad roll. I love how they load up the inside with vegetables. Giant shrimps inside, no skimping on product at all.

Then the vermicelli bowl I ordered came with grilled chicken and spring roll. Just amazing. Looking at the reviews they are really consistent too.

Check it out if you need something delicious in Fort McMurray.

Had a really great experience!. Finally we have a great pho place in town. Started with a Vietnamese coffee and shrimp salad roll. Have to ask for the chilli garlic sauce( spicy yes but so worth it) then had the saute chicken spicy and added 3 shrimp. The broth was on point and portion was huge. Added extra spicy garlic sauce to increase the heat. Have to ask for the bean sprouts, mint and lime to add into it. Overall from service to food was delicious with a great price point as you can tell with the pictures:). Thanks Steven!

The service was excellent and it seems the wait time has gone down compared to other reviewers’ experiences. It took us 20 minutes to get our food.

We ordered the crispy shrimp rolls and it was delicious. We also ordered pho that was quite impressive for Fort McMurray – clear broth, good portion! The only reason I’d give them a 4 star is because they are almost perfect – the one thing lacking was the depth in flavour, this could be due to not enough beef bones in the batch for the broth or lacking pho flavouring.

I’m Vietnamese and my mom uses CỐT PHỞ BÒ BRAND (BEEF FLAVORED “PHO” SOUP BASE) and that gives it a bit of depth and flavour. We’d love to see you guys do well here because the pho was very satisfying!

Got takeout here tonight and really enjoyed it. The pork skewers were super tasty and the beef pho definitely hit my craving! They even packed it with a cute little soup spoon.

I ordered a grilled chicken on rice, which had a bad taste. I’m just a traveler to Fort Mc to eat pho but very disappointed. Ms. Saigon grilled chicken in Edmonton is the best.

There’s only two places in Fort Mac to eat Pho. The first joint in Pho Mac. The second……is Pho Mac. Bun Bo Hue forever!
