My visit to Pho Lynn Vietnamese in Olympia was one of those dining experiences that lands squarely in the middle of the road, offering a mix of the expected and the disappointing without any strong feelings in either extreme. The restaurant itself is unassuming and tidy, providing a casual and comfortable environment for a quick meal. The staff was polite and efficient, ensuring that we were seated promptly and our orders were taken without delay, which I always appreciate.

However, the food itself was a letdown in key areas, preventing a higher rating. I decided to try one of their chicken dishes, and unfortunately, the poultry was quite dry and lacked the juiciness and tenderness that one hopes for. It seemed as if it had been overcooked or perhaps held for too long before being served. The flavors that were present were authentic and hinted at what the dish could have been, but the texture was a significant drawback. Similarly, the sandwich I ordered was merely acceptable. The bread was fresh and the ingredients seemed decent quality, but the overall taste profile was underwhelming and failed to leave a memorable impression. It lacked the vibrant, herb-forward punch and the harmonization of flavors that excellent Vietnamese cuisine is known for.

In the end, Pho Lynn serves its purpose as a convenient local spot for a straightforward meal. The service is commendable and the premises are clean, but the kitchen’s inconsistency with certain proteins and the lack of depth in some dishes hold it back from being a standout. I left feeling neither disappointed nor impressed, but simply satisfied enough. It is a solid three-star establishment that has a good foundation but needs more attention to detail in its culinary execution to truly shine and earn a stronger recommendation.

Pho Lynn is the best pho in Washington State southwest of Lakewood. Just amazing vibes and service with the groovy table tops, big windows on three sides, and the bowl busing cart. Super fast, super fresh. I wish I lived at the car mall so I could go here everyday.

This restaurant has stood the test of time, even with name changes over the years, consistently serving delicious food. Their Beef Stew is unmatched—truly the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the Prawn & Pork Vermicelli bowl, and it was so good I didn’t leave a single bite! The portions are perfect, the ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are on point. Plus, the staff is friendly and efficient, making the dining experience even better. Highly recommend!

Absolutely in love with this pho restaurant! Wait staff was very patient with us because we had our baby with us, and was very prompt with service and with our meals. I do wish the egg rolls would have come out a bit earlier, but still delicious. The pho was not runny or greasy unlike other places, with just the right amount of MSG and pho base to make this a perfect bowl! Will be returning again and again!

The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, comfortable and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. The pho was just okay, nothing that really stood out. The fresh spring rolls were a bit disappointing since the vegetables didn’t seem very fresh. Overall, it’s an average spot, decent experience, but not sure I’d rush back.

There are so many items on the menu I love from Pho Lynn, one being the Grilled Pork and Shrimp Vermicelli bowl!!

I always order one extra fried eggroll to go with it, and it is so good!!

The meat is marinated and so flavorful, the shrimp is sweet and scrumptious, and the eggroll is crunchy and appetizing.

That sauce tho Mix and enjoy!

One of my top 5 pho places. I’ve had many many! Hosts are all super sweet. Broth is just so comforting. The chicken fried rice is super authentic with all the right Vietnamese flavors. The chili oil is on point. Not as spicy as my tolerance could handle, but it does the job.

My absolute favorite pho place, i refuse to go anywhere else! My husband and mother in law introduced me to this place back in 2017, the owner has always been the sweetest and the food is always great!

Genuinely a nightmare of a restaurant. Forgot our drinks, took an hour to get food out, and the waiters seemed entirely unconcerned with any questions we had. They got our order wrong and we couldn’t ask for it to be swapped because the waiter never checked in on is. We had to beg them for our drinks on the way out and they seemed bothered we even wanted them. They charged us $54 (that is without a tip) for 2 phos, 2 drinks, and a fresh roll. The food was definitely not worth it considering how much it was. The only redeeming foods were the fresh rolls (which cost nearly $5 for one)

They threw the menus onto the table and snatched them before we finished ordering. I also noticed that the people next to us had to wait 30 minutes to order and didn’t get their food before we left.

Photo attached is the tripe that we did not order in our soup and brisket that was rubbery enough to be chewed like gum.

Additionally, the $7 thai coffee is not made fresh—it comes storebought and they just reheat it.

Vegan vegetable pho is delicious!! The banh mi is really sweet, which is not my personal preference but my mom liked it. This is probably some of the best vegan broth in olympia, I was really surprised when I got it. The staff was nice, and they seated us by the window. The fish tank is very cool and it’s a good family environment.
