Very good flavor and plenty of options, the staff is very friendly but I guess they need more hands, slow in the service or support with some questions.
The place is nice and it’s only needed table charger for baby in the restrooms.

Just tried this place for the first time. Very clean and nice inside. I placed a Togo order, it came out pretty quickly given how busy it was. The bánh mì hit the spot. Also tried the egg rolls and crab Rangoon. They poke holes in their togo boxes for the fried food…very smart so it doesn’t steam and get soggy.
I enjoyed watching how this place ran while I was waiting. They work as a team, dirty plates are cleared, and no one is standing around. Someone even brought me a water while I waited which was a nice touch. Looking forward to trying more and dining in.

The restaurant’s ambiance was very cozy and charming!
We ordered salt and pepper tofu as an appetizer, and everyone loved it. It was simple yet delicious. The Vietnamese crepe had a crispy egg batter and was served with lettuce, pickled radishes, and cucumbers, making it refreshing and appetizing.
My boyfriend and I had the pho and Bun Bo Hue. The broths were both very flavorful. My Bun Bo Hue included tender pork trotters and fresh blood pudding, which were excellent. His parents ordered the dry vermicelli, one with a combination of meats and the other with spring rolls. They preferred the combination option.
The service was friendly, and we all thought the food was delicious. It was a satisfying meal.

I had a fantastic experience here! The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The Special Bánh Xèo was perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with fresh bean sprouts and shrimp inside – probably one of the best I’ve had. The bún bò Huế (spicy beef noodle soup) was rich, aromatic, and comforting, with generous toppings like pork loaf, tender beef, and even pork blood for those who enjoy traditional flavors.
We also had the Vietnamese-style calamari, which was crispy, golden, and great for dipping in their house sauce. The fresh herb and veggie platter served alongside the dishes made everything feel vibrant and authentic.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for flavorful, traditional Vietnamese cuisine with great presentation. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I was excited about having a Vietnamese restaurant in town but Pho Ly out did my expectations. Food service atmosphere and prices all good. My favorite is Shrimp Pho and the salt and pepper Smelt. The spring rolls are very good also. In fact everything I’ve tried is good and very fresh.

So living in Hawaii for past 10 years I know my Asian foods…and this is nice Vietnamese food! Very fresh and clean and kind staff and you can tell legit when more Asians than white people especially in St. Charles. I’m vegetarian and the pics are their small portion of vegetarian pho really beautiful and amazing! It’s made with a mushroom broth if you care to know I asked. Pictures don’t lie. Their Vietnamese sandwiches called Bang Mi can also be made vegetarian so you guys are aware. The owner is super kind and friendly and a clean beautiful space to relax and enjoy. They have a liquor license too for those interested. Yum! Support local.

From a firsthand recommendation and their great reviews, we decided to try the authentic Vietnamese chow at Pho Ly on 64 in St Charles. Parking is on municipal lot(s) near the restaurant. They’ve been open just over a year. The atmosphere is casual. The service is outstanding. The bar is beer & wine. We had “Spicy Lemongrass Chicken”, a rice/ vermicelli bowl and their crab rangoon for an appetizer. The chicken was definitely spiced up with nice chilis. The food was legitimate, delicious and relatively inexpensive. We’ll certainly be back!

Came weekday evening, not crowded. Staff attentive, premises clean , airy. There is parking at a municipal lot behind the adjacent gas station. There are spaces immediately adjacent with signs saying it’s for the gas station only. The pork banh mi was excellent. The pho broth very clean and tasty but it came barely hot. Certainly not hot enough to cook the meat. Either put the meat in the broth while heating in kitchen or plate it and bring out with broth hot enough to cook the meat! Fortunately I’m ok with rare beef! The banh xeo pancake had a good amount of filling and it was crispy on the outside but the batter didn’t taste right. Would come back if I were in the area but wouldn’t drive there specifically.

First time trying Pho and it was a good introduction. Simple, but delicious. Service was quick, though we never did get our egg rolls, but also weren’t charged for them. Portions were very large, the medium was more than sufficient.
