I can’t believe I waited so long to visit this place! The food was absolutely delicious, the service excellent, and the prices just right. The recent remodel really paid off, making the space feel more open and inviting. The sandwich was fantastic—crisp yet soft, with a warm, crunchy bun. The grilled pork spring rolls were bursting with flavor, and the drink selection was impressive. The strawberry lemonade soda? Absolutely the best!

Got to try the new pho spot in visalia. Nothing really different from this one then any you will find in town. They only have pork in thier rice plates and it only comes with on thin pork chop a little pricey in my opinion. The i ordered a custom pho and they made a house special. The spring rolls are basic just shrimp noodles and lettuce. Thr peanut sauce was topped with raw peanuts so they didnt have a crunch or any flavor to them.

Decor was interesting. Food was good. Meat was very tender and different than other places around Visalia. In a good way. Service was different but I’m in restaurant industry so I’m picky. Overall good. Prices little high but for good meat I’m willing to pay that for the price. Spring rolls good but comparable to other places.

Accidentally found this place 1 day before Christmas Eve because all the other 3 pho places were closed for some reason I’m glad we came here instead because it was actually GOOOD EXPERIENCE! Right off the bat walking in we were greeted by nice young gentleman & young woman who were really kind & helpful for it being our first time there. They were patient with us while we decided what food we wanted & even pulled out a booster seat for my 3 year old I didnt get the name of the guy but he said they have only been open for about a month. Ordered pho, fried rice plates and some other dishes. The prices for the food are good too; from what I remember there was nothing above $20. They even put on some classic episodes of Tom & Jerry for my us to watch while we ate

So delicious! Best Pho spot we have tried in Visalia. The broth in the Pho has so much flavor as well as the meat. Steak spring rolls and fried shrimp are also amazing! We will be back MANY times.

Amazing experience.i had the Vietnamese spicy noodle soup (bun bo hue) and it hit the spot. The lemongrass aroma is fantastic, it’s hard to find a good version of this in Visalia : )

Pho Lotus is a newer spot in Visalia, and since my wife and daughter were craving Vietnamese, we decided to give it a try.

First impressions: the inside is clean and well kept. No complaints there.

Food-wise, we ordered a mix. I had the Vietnamese spicy noodle soup, my wife ordered chicken pho, and my daughter went with the shrimp spring rolls. My kid liked the spring rolls overall, but mentioned the shrimp was drier than she prefers. My wife’s pho was pretty much exactly as expected—solid, no surprises.

My soup was a mixed bag. The broth itself was flavorful and honestly didn’t need anything added to taste good, which I appreciate. It was loaded with different meats, and while that gave it depth, it also gave off a smell that wasn’t my favorite. That said, the bloodcake in the soup was a surprise hit—both my wife and daughter tried it and agreed it tasted good. Flavor definitely wasn’t the issue.

Here’s where things start to slide for us: the price. Paying $19 for a bowl of soup that would typically be $12–$13 at other local spots is a tough sell. The food was good, and I’d eat it again in isolation, but not at that price point. That alone makes it hard for us to justify returning.

Service was another letdown. After our food was dropped off, no one checked on us again—no drink refills, no follow-up, nothing. The entire staff also seemed pretty drained and low-energy. It might just be new-restaurant growing pains, but the overall vibe wasn’t great.

All that said, I don’t think this is a bad place. The food has flavor, the space is clean, and there’s potential here. For us, though, the pricing and the overall energy make this a 3-star experience. I’d still encourage people in the area to try it and decide for themselves—hopefully things improve as they settle in.

The Banh mi and the special combination pho were outstanding. The portion size to price was more than fair. I have never had such an amazing banh mi in my life.
