Service was courteous but not overly friendly, like most quick service Asian restaurants. I’m ok with that. They also provided a small bowl for my little one, as my husband and I each got a large pho and a fried spring roll to split.
Didn’t have time to take pic of his House Pho.
Bun Rieu had tasty sausage, very delicious.
Took my little one to the washroom, two separate rooms with sink, clean.
This place is not just a regular pho spot…
Their Signature Stone Pot Pho broth was is incredibly delicious. Served sizzling hot in a stone pot, it’s packed with generous portions of beef short ribs, bone marrow, sliced raw beef, tendon, tripe, brisket, meatballs, and more…. Absolutely love this dish.
I highly recommend you to check it out
The restaurant is new, very clean, very beautifully decorated. The service very friendly and fast, people are treating like family.
The prices are fair
Highly recommended!
Me and my family were blown away by every single dish, the flavours are authentic, fresh, and so comforting. The pho broth is rich and aromatic, the noodles are perfectly cooked, and the portions are super generous. We also tried a few of their appetizers and mains, and not one miss. You can really taste the love in their cuisine.
On top of that, the service was so warm and welcoming. It truly felt like a home-cooked meal in a family setting.
This spot deserves all the hype!
I also tried the spring rolls and they were delicious crispy on the outside and packed with flavor. Everything came out hot and quickly, which made the experience even better.
The service was great as well. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. Even though the restaurant has a simple and casual atmosphere, it feels welcoming and comfortable, which makes it a great place to sit down and enjoy a good meal.
Overall, Pho Lan is a fantastic spot if you’re craving authentic Vietnamese food. The combination of great flavors, generous portions, fast service, and reasonable prices makes it a place I’ll definitely keep coming back to. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a really good bowl of pho!
I ordered C1, grilled chicken on rice. I was given the fish sauce that goes with the dish, so my server definitely knew what my order was. After waiting 10 minutes, my girlfriend got her pho – so I assumed they were just a bit slower today. 15 minutes later and still, my meal wasn’t ready. Neither did anyone ask our table if we needed anything for the first 30 minutes.
I got up myself and asked where my order was and the server realized my order wasn’t put in to the kitchen. He apologized, then rushed it. What happened after that was even more disappointing as the meal came out fast, perhaps too fast. The rice was mushy and not appetizing at all – the texture was like porridge. The chicken was also as if it was steamed, not much grill to it at all. You can see in my pictures the lack of grill marks you’d usually see. I felt like the cook rushed the order and in the end, added to my already disappointing experience.
I mentioned this to the cashier and they gave me 20% off my meal but in reality if I had to wait 1 hour for a mediocre meal, I wouldn’t have even shown up. Mind you, the cashier helped resolve the issue, not the server who initially messed up.
