Please do not let the negative reviews keep you from coming here. This is a humble Vietnamese restaurant that knows its flavors without needing to be anything fancy. If they aren’t busy, you can walk in to the front and they’ll let you pick your seat. There is a variety of options on the menu but we ordered the chicken pho and the number 4 pho. It came with a plate of jalapeños, bean sprouts and thai basil to accompany the pho. The serving size was really large and worth every penny. You get plenty of noodles and broth. The broth was SO flavorful and tasty and clean. You get plenty of meat in the bowl. We left feeling very full and and satisfied.

I liked the old Pho La Jolla. This place was bought out and their original owners sold their business a couple months ago. Waiters were so rude. The pho was absolutely bland and tasteless. Real pho has visual oil in the broth, this did not. Never coming here again.

The pho here is okay. I’ve never had a worker give me such a hard time for ordering steak and brisket in my pho… there are flies around which made it unpleasant too.

Frankly, I don’t understand why people are complaining. I am a French Asian person, and after eating lots of restaurants, including Vietnamese ones, I can say the Pho is very good. The Broth is among the top ones I got in my life.

Great place to dine in. Affordable Vietnamese dishes and foods were satisfying. Must try their spicy beef pho. Service was great though you have to wait 10-15 minutes for the food to get on the table. Can be seated outside or inside depending on your choice. Covid safety measures were implemented wisely in this location.

Unfortunately we didn’t get any good service here. When we first walked in we were greeted and seated right away. It took the waiter 15 minutes to take our order.

Let me say first that I live in Westminster so I’m used to really good Vietnamese food. I went with about 8 family members and everyone thought the food was a but pricey. It’s because the area is expensive and rent is expensive. Half of my family liked their dishes (pho was apparently good). The other half didn’t like their dish much (the bun and bun Bo hue weren’t as authentic as could be). But it was crowded and open late so I assume the locals like it since there aren’t many Vietnamese restaurant options in the area. It’s probably very tasty for La Jolla/San Diego.
