I’ve been frequenting Pho King for a few years now. Absolutely love their pho here out of the several I’ve tried around Klang Valley. They definitely take top seat. Not to mention their spring rolls (both fresh and fried) and their salted coffee.

But truly the reason I’m writing today is to say that, as a restaurant that is quite busy on a weeknight, and your staff – the Indian guy – is excellent. I need to get his name, oh he said it’s Dip. As I was silently observing him, I see his alertness and efficiency of his service. Pls give him a nice CNY bonus, bosses.

Amazing!

One of the very few Vietnamese restaurants serving pork Pho. And their pho is delicious! The servings is now smaller than when they first opened, less toppings and noodles. But still delicious. Their Banh mi has the proper pork pate with the crusty but soft bread. Still my go to for Vietnamese cuisine.

The dining experience at this restaurant was truly outstanding. The drinks and coffee were excellent, well-balanced, and full of flavor. The food was exceptional, especially the meat dishes — perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, juicy, and rich in taste. Every bite was a real pleasure.

The seasonal bread was also delicious, fresh, and complemented the dishes beautifully. Overall, the experience exceeded expectations and was absolutely worth it. Highly recommended, and definitely a place to return to.

Food – The food is surprisingly good. The taste is well balanced and not too salty. The portions can bit a little small for the price

Service – Is good and fast. Can request for more vege if required for your pho

Environment – Very cosy with aircond and soothing music. One thing to note that parking might be hard

This is a review on Pho King after many visits over the years. How the restaurant has evolved through the times from the beginning of their food journey. The food has remained very high quality, over time and seeks to improve. Ingredients are always top-class and the food taste is consistently flavourful. They offer lovely set meals on non-holiday weekdays and a fine selection of a la carte dishes. For Chinese New Year, they even offer a fresh Vietnamese take on Yee Sang. However, the seats are not as comfortable as I would like them to be. Restaurant ambience is very nice, enhanced by nice soothing music. It’s my favourite Vietnamese restaurant.

The overall Viet experience was good with the food well made and tasty.

We had the spring roll (both types) as a starter and Beef Pho and also Stewed Pork Belly Rice.

The rice.with the added touch of a hard boil egg was an excellent home hearty meal on a rainy day. The beef pho goes as close as you can get and the music choices are excellent , making your dining feeling homey especially on a rainy day.

The chee cheong fun ( rice roll) with grill pork also tasted excellent.

An overall good meal with good vibes.

Good location, very tastefully set up, clean and cozy. staffs are friendly and food is food. Stew pork with rice is excellent; crispy pancake with prawn and pork is also super refreshing and delicious. Will try more dishes next round. Excellent Vietnamese restaurant. Highly recommended.

Nice looking Vietnamese restaurant that resembles more like a cafe.

The food is really good even though we have only tried their banh mi and pho bo. Judging by the crowd, this must be a rather successful restaurant.

Love their decor and food.
Pity that you will have to wait quite a while for their food – it’s written on the wall, literally (see photo)!

Just had the beef noodles here and it was absolutely delicious! The broth is rich and flavorful, the beef is tender, and the noodles have the perfect texture. The portion is generous and everything feels fresh and authentic. On top of that, the service is warm and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best spots for Vietnamese food – highly recommended!

This is my second time visiting this Vietnamese restaurant located nearest my house after more than 10 years. I had beef noodle on my first visit since I only know beef noodle is the most famous dish in Vietnamese cuisine. After learning about various other dishes, I have been meaning to try banh mi and gỏi cuốn. Fortunately, Pho King has this 2 food choices in their menu.

The traditional bahn mi has a mixture of pork belly, char siew, pâté and vegetables (carrots, cucumbers) wrapped in a lightly toasted or oven-baked baguette. It is a little spicy and too my liking. It is also highlighted in the menu so that patrons are aware. Although I don’t like that it has quite a lot of pork fat in the char siew, overall I love their bahn mi as it reminds me of French cuisine. If you did not already know, Vietnam was colonised by France in the 19th century so French influence is prevalent in their culture especially in this dish. I would love to try other toppings such as lemongrass chicken and pork belly on my next visit.

I also ordered the summer roll or gỏi cuốn for appetizer. It is just like popiah but wrapped in rice paper skin. They have 2 choices available but I chose the vegetarian option since I cannot eat prawns. It comes with peanuts with sesame dressing with a slight spicy kick. Together it refreshes my palate while waiting for the entrée to arrive. Honey kamquat with less ice completes my meal and ends on a satisfying note.

Overall the ambience is excellent with very pleasing natural decor and soulful music filling the mood. The staff is very attentive and friendly too. I will definitely come back to savour more Vietnamese dishes in future.
