Beautiful and clean atmosphere. The pho broth is aromatic, clean, and full of flavor. The toppings are fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared, making each bowl satisfying from the very first bite to the last. We also tried their special drinks, which were incredibly refreshing and authentically made. Their special dishes were another highlight generous portions, flavorful and beautifully presented. I had such a great experience at this Vietnamese restaurant in Richmond Hill. The service is incredibly friendly and impressively fast — you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. Their fried spring rolls are honestly the best I’ve ever had: perfectly crispy, full of flavour, and absolutely addictive.
If you’re looking for delicious food and warm service, this place is a must‑visit. We will definitely coming back every time we want to eat good!

This was my very first visit, even with a nearly full house, the place was kept clean and quietness. The food tasted so authentic! My husband is cautious about the raw and cold food, and he tosses everything into a sizzling stone bowl at once. Next time, I promise I’ll stop him before he puts it all into it ”

There are quite a few Vietnamese restaurants in the neighborhoods that we go by turn. I like their grilled beef and pork the best. The price is also reasonable ( cash payment no tax), so comparably cheaper as well. However, the seats can be cleaner and the service can be more prompt. It is very hard to get waiter’s attention when they are busy. For their food and price, we will go back as they are in the neighborhood.

When I just came to Richmond hill I was introduced by my friends this restaurant (if I wanted to do takeout, they gave me the flyer) I was debating between this and another restaurant in the area but I went with Hung Phat.
For me it’s entirely nostalgic reason. Something about this restaurant which is endearing and serene. Staff were friendly and polite. It felt personal & private. I didn’t order much, just enough. And to be honest, the food didn’t blow me away but I still loved this place. I think pricing is okay, portion is mid. They seem to gave a decent selection to choose from. I’m picky when it comes to Vietnamese food. Therefore, it’s entirely on me
Again, what I loved about Hung Phat is their staff and the vibe. Hopefully they won’t change in the future so I can come back from time to time. Their tea is great!!!
This restaurant isn’t huge. It can fit somewhere 7-8 groups. Kids are welcome ❤️

Different aspect of artistic decorations about Vietnam was put up on walls, love the aesthetic sense and vibe in the restaurant. Playing western pop music, nice!

Just wow. Everything we ordered was delicious. Beef pho, chicken wings with sticky rice, rice paper roll with a variety of meat (beef, pork, sausage)
4/12/2025 – Placed my usual order. I order from this place once a week. The wrong size (smaller size) pho was given to me and the S01 special did not come with the rice paper and veggies, rendering it useless as a special. I called the place and no refund or offer to deliver my corrected food item was made. Very disappointed.

I am not a resident of this neighborhood. We were on our way to brunch at a breakfast establishment when we happened to park directly from Pho Hung Phat, a Vietnamese restaurant, so we decided to try it instead of having breakfast.
As a local guide specializing in local restaurants, I dine out or order takeout daily. Therefore, I can discern the authenticity of most food.
The beef noodle soup was authentic. A slightly larger portion of beef would have made the dish perfect. The grilled meat vermicelli was excellent. The fish sauce wings were finger licking delicious. The Vietnamese coffee was authentic, and their complimentary tea was unlike typical Asian teas; it had a pleasant nutty flavor.
The service was outstanding. The waitresses were friendly, attentive, and efficient. The prices were reasonable.
The food was excellent, and I subsequently ordered takeout for dinner.
Overall, I rate this Vietnamese restaurant five stars. We will certainly return!
