This is the best pho I’ve ever had in the United States.
As an Asian person who has tasted many bowls of pho in my life,
I was truly amazed by how clean, honest, and beautifully balanced the flavors were.
No grease, no heaviness—just pure, refreshing broth made with real care.
The service was warm, the atmosphere was peaceful,
and the food tasted like honesty.
I own Nam Ho Sung Kimchi, and I deeply respect restaurants
that cook with integrity.
This place is one of the rare ones.
Highly recommended. A true gem in America.
Great for anyone who can’t handle greasy or heavy foods —
my “class-tro people.”
Truly clean and trustworthy pho.
Here are the cliff notes:
1. The beef tastes like hooves. I’m from a ranch. Maybe it’s a spice like the other commenter said. It literally tastes like the way my family’s cattle barn smells. I love fatty brisket and have ordered it for YEARS from the other place. I can’t even order it anymore. I was convinced it was off. Tonight’s different cut beef was the same, although not as intense as that first time.
2. They forget stuff every time. Sometimes I get two yellow limes and no other veggies. My drinks make it 60% of the time. Tonight I got one drink and they forgot the other. Aaand I left notes like “hey, don’t leave without the drinks”. I have called. They say the dasher forgot. The last dasher said the restaurant said it was there and they’re not allowed to open the bag. Who knows. Regardless, I want cilantro and bean sprouts and basil and limes that aren’t wilted and brownish-yellow and jalepenos. The sadness when I open a bag with nothing but two sad limes is intense.
3. I ordered large but literally had hardly any meat. It was like… almost nothing. I honestly didn’t have many noodles either. I’m not sure what the norm is, but it’s way less than the other one! The seafood at least comes with a set amount of stuff! Way more food!
Let me start by saying “WOOOWWWW” I can’t even describe how awesome everything is. First off the outside doesn’t do any justice of how great it looks inside, it’s CLEAN, the owners are so welcoming and customer service is top notch. The owner’s name is Thuy she’s the masterpiece behind all the flavors. The son’s name is Nhat, he will make you feel at home.
Now the good stuff….. I ordered Chicken Pho and this is the first time that I don’t have to add anything to the soup to give it flavor, AMAZING!! My husband ordered the Birria tacos (I know what you’re thinking but let me explain) they are better than the other Birria in town and if you’ve ever had “Black Market Birria Tacos” then you’ll know these are on point if not better, they are made out of brisket, the tortilla has the red sauce and filled with cheese and toasted, served with lime, salsa, and consomé to dip!!! (Chef’s kiss!) Ms. Thuy gave us a sample to try of the spicy noodle soup, and yes another winner!! All I can say is I can’t wait to try more items (Garlic Butter crab, garlic butter shrimp, the sandwiches.. and so many more)
Thuy, Thuy’s Husband and Nhat… keep up the good work!!! You guys got it right…. Finally a great lunch and dinner spot.
Will definitely be back
We had no-meat Pho and grilled pork vermicelli, and 3 drinks (a smoothie, milk tea boba and a Vietnamese coffee) all well done and all a bit sweet but very very good. Three other random things that we really appreciated:
1. Very clean, well-lit bathrooms
2. Very clean/new or wiped down spices/sauce bottles on the table (usually these get sticky and pretty gross at other places)
3. Thoughtful signage and logo stamped plates/dishes (this shows an owner that cares about the full culinary experience and intentional branding)
Oh, and the fortune cookies at the end of the meal. Hahaha.
WE LOVED IT. Thanks for becoming our go-to spot for Vietnamese food.
