The overall design of the restaurant feels authentically Vietnamese. I loved that all the essential condiments were already set out on the table. One small note: water is served room temperature without ice, but the hot tea they offer was quite good.
I ordered the well done beef brisket pho bowl and it definitely hit the spot. My partner tried the hot stone pho, which was a fun twist and stayed hot. We also shared the fresh pork and shrimp spring rolls, good portion size, though the shrimp had a slightly fishier taste than usual.
Pricing is definitely higher than other pho spots, but overall, it still hits the pho craving.

Prices are a bit more than normal for Vietnamese food, but the portions make it worth it. We’ve tried multiple dishes here & there’s been no complaints. The spring rolls are stuffed with a lot of meat, each bite is so flavourful. I think my favourite is their vermicelli dish. Only con is how early they close, but other than that we love coming here for dinner with friends.

I saw another comment talking about the price point at Pho Hong Phong and I agree. Price point may seem a little higher than other Vietnamese restaurants, however, the portion sizes accommodate to the prices. We had the pork & shrimp fresh rolls, House special Pho (forgot to take a pic of these, sorry!) Bone marrow pho, and the beef salad. The beef salad was stacked & was delicious! The house special and bone marrow pho were phenomenal. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (we walked in an hour before close – we are from Hamilton and just left a Brantford Bulldogs game). We definitely will be back to try other items on the menu.

It’s been wonderful the last two times I dined in and I plan to go again soon! The music has a really pleasant sentimental vibe and it’s low-key and just the right volume. The atmosphere is sweet and welcoming, love all the floral decorations. The food’s amazing and fresh. Favorite place in town.

Just tried Pho Hong Phong for the first time, and man am I sorry I waited so long!
I got the rare beef pho, absolutely scrumptious. The broth was rich and morish. The individual items were all packed separately (which I LOVED!), so I’ll be able to save some for lunch tomorrow. Everything was fresh and clearly prepared with love. I got the large and had to tap out half way. So full and happy!
My boyfriend got the beef stew with rice, and said it was super delicious as well.

Customer service is non existent. We were seated down by a gentlemen who was wearing ripped denim shorts, a t-shirt, and flip flops. However that wasn’t the worst part, he had his ear pods on and was loudly engaging in a conversation while seating us down and serving food to other tables.
We ended up ordering bun bo hue, bun reiu, pho, spring rolls and a vermicelli dish. The spring rolls were burnt and extremely oily. The dishes are all pretty authentic but the flavours are somewhat lacking. There is another location somewhere in the GTA and if you take a look at the website, not every menu item on there is available in this location. (Double check before going).
When everyone at our table received their food except for my husband, that was when they told us that his dish wasn’t available and that he needed to reorder.
The establishment is clean but the atmosphere isn’t the greatest!

Was here with hubby during hockey tournament in Brantford, we ordered chicken pad Thai, Vietnamese spring rolls, jasmine tea, fresh rolls and rare pho and it was all delightful. Would be back if we’re in town.

Came here to see how the food was, and it was pretty good! Your usual pho soup bowl is exceptionally good, but in this case I got a beef stew with rice! It was very good, although the service was lacking a little bit as we received water without ice (which wasn’t really that big of a problem), overall pretty good place and the prices were good!!
