Came here for lunch and had their DOV menu. This place has the best value ($25) and the food is pretty good. The appetizers were full size, not small DOV style, so we got pretty full from just those. The mains were hot and tasty. The pho is different as it is a sate style broth (think of a thinner curry sauce) so is way heavier than the traditional clear pho broth. It wasn’t too spicy but was very filling. The grilled chicken was juicy and had nice texture on the grill marks. The deep fried banana was made to order so we had to tell them just as we were finishing the mains to start on the desserts (took about 6 minutes to come so not too bad).

Service is top notch, they are very friendly, attentive and have helpful comments on the menu items. The restaurant is pretty old so the dining are is a bit dark and dated.

Mar. 1/26:

We came for a belated bday dinner and even though the restaurant is within walking distance to our son’s it was a first time visit for us all.

They’re vegan (marked on menu with a leaf )) and there were enough options for them but due to a mushroom allergy some not suitable or a substitute (sauce) was required.

Service was prompt and attentive.
Food came quickly and hot.
Star of the show was A4, the crunchy ingredient added a delightful texture with the other 13 ingredients in the Buddha’s Feast Rolls.
Highly recommend!

Cash or Debit only, NO TAP
Street parking available on busy Fraser Street.

My kids have a weekly function at South Memorial park so I would often sneak away for a peaceful bowl of PHO. Almost forgot about this place on Fraser. Been here 3-4 times before we left Vancouver a couple years ago. Boss lady Viet Auntie is always friendly and super accommodating. The broth is always flavourful with big pieces of tendons. Spring rolls are fresh and piping hot. Decor is modern and clean. I will try the other dishes next time I come back!

The food here is really good! I liked the pho pate which is a peanut soup based pho with beef – the beef was really tender! Their spring rolls, salad rolls, and deep fried banana with vanilla ice cream are really good too. The deep fried banana is not too sweet and pairs well when eaten with the ice cream. They also freshly deep fry their spring rolls and deep fried bananas! Yum!

The food here is really great! I had both the pho and the banh mi here and would recommend it to anyone looking for authentic vietnamese food.

First time here. The spring roll was not overly deep fried, it was moist inside with a light crisp on the outside. The salad roll was moist and not dry. The pho was done very well, not clumping together. Overall, probably one of the best Vietnamese pho restaurant we have eaten in. Highly recommended and we definitely will be back again.

Delicious pho spot in Vancouver!!

My friend and I ate here for dinner after a soccer game. I ordered the Beef Stew Rice Noodle Soup which was recommended to me by the lovely server since it was our first time here. I also ordered a side of spring roll.

The beef stew soup was phenomenal! The broth was very tasty and had a bit of creaminess to it. The noodles were also really good. The beef cuts were thick and tender with a good amount of fat in it that melts in your mouth. The spring roll was large and crispy but I would say price was a bit expensive for one spring roll ($3.95).

The interior was cozy with decent room but it may be harder to get a seat if the place is packed. Luckily we went near closing time so it wasn’t that busy.

Our server was friendly and helped me decide which dish to try out because I was deciding between the beef stew and the pho sate. Glad I went with her favourite dish – beef stew, because it was delish!

Parking here at night was a breeze, street parking was very easy to find and it’s actually free to park at night after a certain time, I think after 8 or 9pm. Daytime parking might be a bit more difficult.

Overall, this is a wonderful pho spot in Vancouver and I definitely plan to come back here to try their other soups!

First time visiting, tried the Pho Sate. Absolutely delicious. Decor is a little out of place (adobe faux roof tiles), maybe it used to be a Taceria?
Anyways, great food, will return.
