The food here is absolutely delicious — truly one of the best pho places I’ve tried.
But unfortunately, it feels like the staff have gotten a bit complacent and careless.
I ordered a kids’ meal, which includes a drink, but the cashier told me that because it was for takeout, I said that I’ll not pay extra for the drink, so they didn’t give me a drink. There is no such rule anywhere on the menu. The kids’ combo clearly lists a soup plus a drink for a fixed price. It’s not about the drink — it’s about the attitude.
On top of that, I ordered three portions of battered fried shrimp, but when I got home, I discovered they gave me three portions of plain boiled shrimp instead.
It’s very disappointing.

One star for food. I can came in for lunch and ordered a vermicelli chicken pork and added shrimp. It came out within 2 minutes of me ordering. I thought wow, that was fast, but was quickly disappointed with the quality. The shrimp was cold and looked like it wasn’t cleaned properly. The pork and chicken tasted flash fried, like it had been cooked earlier and then warmed up for the lunch rush. The taste of cooking fuels and oils was very apparent in those meats. The noodles were cold and runny. And when I complained about my meal all I was told was that I could take a can of pop for the road.
One star for service because nothing came off the bill or a fresh meal was not brought out.

Nice, bright and clean restaurant that serves delicious Vietnamese food. Received wonderful service from Joy who was helpful and so pleasant to deal with; Alvina was also very nice and gave wonderful and friendly service. The chicken rice plate was delicious and the meat was tender. I also enjoyed the Taro Bubble Tea. The complimentary hot tea was also good and it was served with a glass of water. It was also nice of them to replace rice (or noodles) with vegetables for someone in our group who was carb-cutting. The restrooms were nice and clean as well. There’s ample parking in front of the restaurant. They accept credit cards, including AMEX. We’ll keep coming back!

I absolutely love Pho Hoan Pasteur’s spicy beef sate pho with peanuts. The flavours are so delicious and aromatic, with the perfect amount of spiciness. My wife enjoys grilled chicken and spring rolls with vermicelli and their peanut sauce as it is quite tasty as well. However, we both agree that it’s not the best peanut sauce in town. The green onion cakes are also delicious and quite large. I’d like to try some of their other dishes, but every time we go, that spicy beef sate pho is what I end up ordering as it’s just that damn good.

This place is a favorite. Good food, polite friendly staff, clean place. My only complaint is when I get a hankering for chicken vermicelli (w/spring rolls, #41 on menu I believe) on a Monday, which I then remember that they are closed on Mondays and I’m sad because I have to figure out something else for dinner.

Order wor wonton soup. I was very disappointed in the quality. The wontons were really firm and cold I’m thinking previously frozen. The pieces of carrot were GIANT and I only had 2 pieces. While I realize I ordered the wor wonton soup (carrot and broccoli) I did expect there to be more meat.

Absolute joke of a business. I was a long time customer since the first store on the Northside of Edmonton. You had a reputation of making the same dish perfect everytime. I try this trash location in fort sask. What I get is inconsistency. First, hairs in one of my orders, another order on a different day wasnt even what I ordered, almost everytime the green onion cakes come crunchy and inedible and today which is the final straw, a huge piece of a plastic bag. If it’s still the same owner, I suggest you get this location in check and re-instate the standards I grew up enjoying.
