Small restaurant packed with as much seating as possible…does get very busy at times! The bowls are good but the soups are much better. Not much protein for the price but it does taste good! The meat was on the cooler side last time I ordered a bowl, so next time I will ask for it to be grilled before served. Will be back.

We got the beef vermicelli with spring rolls and the #28 rice with chicken and spring rolls. The vermicelli was stacked with fresh crunchy veggies, tender grilled beef, and spring rolls that stayed crispy to the last bite. The fish sauce was balanced so every bite hit right. Number 28 was great too as it was juicy, well seasoned chicken over fluffy rice, fresh veggies and not greasy at all. The vibe is clean bright and casual with cozy modern day noodle shop energy. It smells amazing when you walk in, music is low, and service is fast and friendly. Heads up to come early for dinner because it gets busy and the place is packed. Portions are big, prices are fair, parking at Manning is easy, and this is my new north side go to.

Had the spicy seafood pho and it was amazing. One of the best pho I’ve ever had. The customer service and atmosphere is really nice. Would love to go there again!

We use to go further for the beef satay peanut pho. We asked for no veggies and one came with veggies. Makes me worry as I’m celiac if they don’t pay attention to detail. At the other pho hoan Pasteur owned by same family should be cohesive to one another. This location does not offer military discount while the other does. This location doesn’t let you pick the heat level where the other location you can. When asked they are the same family, I feel they should offer the same. The pho noodles itself soaks up the soup part so really it’s flavoured noodles I’m eating. I’d rather go to the other place the services are better. Manning location is disappointing no discount, messes up details on special orders. Just not the same customer service and the convenience of the closer distance it’s not that far to the other one I’d rather go for the all round customer service.

Really good pho! And it’s very well priced! Representatives are very polite and kind, alwaysready to bring you more tea if you need (I really like the tea they serve). Really good place if you want to come with family and have a good dinner, with everything cooked and ready. Also they are very generous with portions! Only best words about the place. The interior is cozy, the only thing is that the place is maybe not that big for big groups (10 and more people), so wish you to develop and grow!

This place checks every box for food, service, and atmosphere. The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the warm scent of incense that sets the tone. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and genuine friendliness, which made the experience even better.
The food was fantastic. I ordered the regular beef pho and it was phenomenal, rich, flavourful, and perfectly prepared. The spring rolls were served hot and fresh, a perfect complement to the meal.
Pricing is very reasonable for the quality you get. I’ll definitely be coming back.

New second location for Pho Hoan Pasteur. Our group of six enjoyed our time here and the food and service was excellent. The restaurant was comfy and the ambiance was nice. The food was very good. All of us enjoyed our meal selections. I had the beef sate pho with peanuts and enjoyed it. My wife and I definitely enjoyed and will come back again.

Pho Hoan Pasteur has become my go-to spot whenever I’m in Edmonton and craving a comforting bowl of pho. The broth is rich, fragrant, and full of depth—clearly made with care and long simmering. Portion sizes are generous, and the meat is always tender and fresh. I especially recommend the rare beef and brisket combo—it hits the spot every time.
The menu also offers a solid selection of vermicelli bowls, rice dishes, and appetizers. The spring rolls are crispy and packed with flavour, and the sate pho has just the right amount of spice if you’re looking for a kick.
Service is friendly and quick, and the space is clean and welcoming. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the quality stays consistent. A real gem in the north side of Edmonton.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for great Vietnamese food!

I ate here today for the first time. Service was quick and friendly. There were quite a few customers. Very clean. Lots of parking. I ordered a vermicelli dish (#42). It had multiple meats to try. Overall, my meal was tastey. Generally, most places give you 2 spring rolls. This one
gives 1. Would have preferred 2 because they are very good here.
