Apart from its cleanliness, the food is so good. Coming from Canada we had forgotten how large some portions are here in the USA. The regular sized Pho was huge! Did I mention the food was good? The broth was amazing, and meat to noodle ratio is spot on. Even presentation was excellent. This is very unexpected for me at a Pho establishment.
The drinks were also excellent, and again, HUGE. Very tasty, cold and made well, especially the Thai tea. Lastly the staff are amazing. They are efficient, and very friendly, and really went above and beyond my expectations. Do yourself a favour and pay them a visit. It will be a satisfying experience. Highly recommended!
The #2 was deliciously nice and hot but the #27 didn’t meet standards. The beef was a bit dry and chewy. If you’ve ever had TK Noodle (Tung Kee) beef stew with tendon then you have pretty high standards for beef stew in the Bay Area. The fried egg rolls also need improvement as it was overly fried and dry tasting which did not deserve the price per roll of $2.69 each. However, the Avocado Overload was really good!
The young staff was really attentive, polite and kind so 5 stars for them! Ample parking around the shopping center with a really cool vibe with the nusoul music playing as you enjoy your dinner and conversation with company.
Pleasant service with the smile greeting and offer to pick any available table. On the “limited lunch time” request food was delivered by the time we’ve managed to wash hands.
Food quality – you really have to experience were you can taste each pho ingredient, not overkilled with salt and spices where broth tells the story. Sour seafood pho was outstanding. Housemaid spicy sauce is Full of flavors and does has some bite (carful, container shoots on a squeeze).
Design and cleanliness – spotless, bright and sharp. Please keep it that way!
Will be back, see and taste more soon.
Also has its own tea shop in back — good quality.
UPDATE: Have now had the pho — excellent broth and beef slices.
Staff is consistently friendly. If the owner is out front, he is very helpful and engaged.
We keep going back.
