Quick to find a seat, and it was nice to see pictures on the menus. I’m not a fan of mandatory tipping but they did make it very clear on signage and on the menus. Oddly enough though while paying they didn’t add any tip – not sure what to make of that.
One bowl can be enough food for two people as the portions are large. That makes for good value.
The fried rolls are quite greasy which was a bit off putting. The salad rolls are quite tasty and definitely the healthier option.
The fried pork was delicious and it was all good – no excessively fatty or chewy pieces like I have had at some places.
The salad was great. It’s a refreshing meal after a day at the beach. Inside the restaurant is pretty dark and the bathroom needs to be kept up better.
Overall a good experience and I’d recommend it.

Kinda pricey but it’s understandable with the location (a small touristy town). Their pork chop rice & pho were reasonably good for a small town standard. The mandatory 15% tip is fine with me, it’s the new norm of tipping these days, at least they told it upfront with a sticker on their menu.

I’m not a fan of the mandatory tip. The point of a tip is to say thank you for good service. To demand it is insulting. The mandatory tip is not on your website and you didn’t mention it when we made a reservation. It’s misleading advertising to demand it when we arrive. And to say your competitors do it, maybe, but we went to the Old Settler the next night – and no mandatory tip. They gave good service and I was happy to tip them.

I restaurant is really close to the Harrison Resort, a 3 min walk. I read a lot of reviews that say they add an auto 15% gratuity to the bill no matter what, and YES, it’s true.
They do write it in big font on the front of the menu. As to why they do this? I don’t know. Usually what I’m use to is parties of 5-8 or more get this only. But for a single occupant, seems unnecessary. But I didn’t question it.
However, if they’re going to add auto gratuity to everyone’s bill, the tip function on the pin pad should be bypassed.
The food was delicious. I only had the large Pho soup and water. The service was super fast and friendly. The place wasn’t busy, just me and another table of 4. But it’s the off season at Harrison so nothing was super busy around the town.
Would I go back? YES, because it was good. Oh, also if you pay with CASH or DEBIT, they’ll give you 3% off.

The Missus and I stopped by Pho Ho for dinner. We had a pho soup, vermicelli bowl and spring roll. The service was friendly and reasonable pricing relative to other local eateries. The food tasted fine but the quantity was a bit less than in Vancouver restaurants. But we understand this is Harrision Hot Springs and it provided our fix for Vietnamese food.

We had lemongrass and shrimp salad rolls, peanut sate pho(vegetarian and so good) and beef balls pho. All of it was really good, the large size soup is really huge. Lemongrass chicken spring roll is a nice treat, not all places offer that, meaty and great peanut sauce. The staff were very nice.

The Veggie Salad rolls and satay sauce are delicious!! Price for a tourist destination is also good value for money as the portion sizes are plentiful. The large will fill you up if you are hungry.
Staff are super friendly and very welcoming.
I hate to only give this lovely local a 3 star, but my reasoning is that between even a large and small veggie noodle soup, there is barely any veggies nor tofu which is disappointing.

The food was so good. Everything looked delicious and the portions were really generous. The staff were very kind and the prices were all really good also.
It’s a really great place to eat, especially if you’re staying down here in Harrison. No need to drive to far to find great Asian food.

I know the reviews are good for this place but unfortunately I can’t justify it. I’m from the Tri-cities and Vancouver so I’ve had my fair share of good Vietnamese food. The portions are small and the prices are a bit high for what you get. I understand that there is no competition here so prices can’t be influenced. The flavors are average but if you are out this way and craving Vietnamese food this place will do.
