My family used to come here on occasion. Personally my first time here. Came with a party of 6 and the place was DEAD. The decor seemed outdated, the table covers are chipping and had some food sticking to it.. The only staff here was the owner. Where is the chef and wait staff???
I ordered the Com Thit Nuong for myself. The owner was cooking all of our meals too! Wow…. I’ve never ever had burnt pork at any other vietnamese restaurant… The rice was also cold. Two of the plates one person ordered had charred shrimp. The pho was bland.. I refuse to eat here EVER. First and last time ever. BEWARE

Really good pho, the place wasn’t very busy at the time we went in but it was also storming hard out. We plan on a trip there very soon!

It looks like it’s run down, closed. But after doing a circle around the building we saw people. I’m so happy we stopped. BEST papaya salad ever! The broth of the pho is something outta this world! I’ve tried a bunch of places but this right here is the best I’ve ever had! The lady working was very nice and on point with the service. I don’t know why this place is so dead! It should be packed, maybe it’s location. But I will now go here and only here! I will be telling family and friends about my experience. Great job!!

A friend and I had lunch here for the first time and it was excellent. We both ordered the soup, she had the #1 and I had the noodle and BBQ pork. The meat was so tender, the broth was so tasty, ingredients fresh. We agreed we would come back to this diamond in the rough.

PHT has great Pho. We always bring out of town guests here for delicious food. However, the last few times we ate here the tables and bathrooms were very dirty. I hope they can get it back to the amazing place it used to be.

The Bun was pretty solid. The pork was tasty and had a great char on it that I didn’t realize that I had been missing. The place was not so crowded but the atmosphere was still pretty welcoming. Seemed like a lot of people were doing take out.

Girlfriend and I ordered 2 bowl of pho. The meatballs were past due. Egg rolls were badly wrapped. Tasted horrible. Broth tasted bad. Seems like she was in rush to make our food. I don’t know why because we were the only ones in the restaurant. Felted like I’ve been poison. Didn’t even finish my food. Paid and left to go eat somewhere else.

The fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce were delicious. Spicy noodle pho was excellent. Charbroiled shrimp to die for. I went on a Sunday for carryout service was great and quick. I was back the following Friday for more carry out.

Very authentic Vietnamese food. I usually go for the Banh Mi (a huge sandwich with grilled pork, veggies and Jalapenos). It’s amazing. They also have a huge selection of noodles and drinks. The prices are low, so if you’re in the mood for something different, try it out.

I believe this restaurant relocated from 27th and Howard to this current location for more room; This location is much larger, and can accommodate far more tables. They also appear to have added some sort of entertainment (there’s a stage and some speakers, and I see fliers up for some sort of concert / singing performers every time I’m in, which seems a bit out of place). Don’t let this fool you, though, the food is extremely fresh, and authentically Vietnamese. The Pho is probably my second favorite in town, which is saying a lot considering the recent explosion of offerings in the Milwaukee area. The Bun-mi dishes are also very fresh, delicious, and authentic. Bonus points because they also deliver (although for some reason not the night I ordered).
