This place makes really good pho soup. I like to order it with jasmine rice instead of noodles, and the rice is excellent. The broth is tasty and flavorful, though you might feel a bit thirsty after (likely from MSG). Still, it’s one of the best pho spots in the DMV area — definitely worth trying! I also appreciate that the soup doesn’t have the strong herbal smell you often find at other pho restaurants. However, the other dishes I tried, like the pancake, were just average. For me, the soup is definitely the highlight here.

This Vietnamese restaurant in Annandale is pretty good. It is part of a different ownership chain. The Vietnamese crepe is pretty good as well as the marinated beef cube ( shaky beef). It is very tasty. Highly recommend the shaky beef as if it is probably the best menu item. It can be served with steamed rice or fried rice. We get it with fried rice and it is delicious We also enjoyed the fish clay pot. It is caramelized fish in a clay pot and comes out sizzling. It is delicious

The spicy beef soup was not as spicy and not as flavorful as we’ve had at other restaurants. I Do not recommend this menu item.
The fried egg noodle with seafood is very good. It is a portion that is shareable. Ask for it with soft noodles in my opinion it will taste better than the crispy noodle.

The typical grilled meat with rice is also pretty tasty or on top of vermicelli noodle.

We enjoyed our food at this restaurant and service is pretty good.

Even with all the Vietnamese restaurants in the area, I feel that this place is one of my usual go to. Located in a small shopping center off the main road, you could miss it. Inside is decorated like most pho shops. Depends on the day it can be busy. I find their food is pretty consistent every time I go. I always go with my favorite, Bun Bo Hue and my wife usually get vermicelli bowl. Their cha gio is always crispy and hits the spot! We usually like to get other items here and there to try.

Service is pretty quick and prices are competitive with other restaurants. If I have to nitpick sometimes it does smell like cleaning solution inside. I definitely recommend checking this place out when you have a craving for Vietnamese food!

Large bowl of pho was lacking meat and the broth wasn’t as flavorful as other spots I’ve been to. The only positive thing I can say about the service is that it was quick. Just very average across the board.

Went there for early dinner so parking was not an issue. I had Pho with chicken. The broth is absolutely delicious. The Shrimp Garden Rolls are made fresh and a must appetizer. Our servers were Huang & Phong who were attentive.

Neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant that my family and friends go to when we have a hankering for some great Vietnamese food. The location that we like going to is the one on Markham Road. Had the shrimp skewered in sugar cane and their beef; On another visit at their new location at Eden Center, I had their Vietnamese Crepe. These are all good dishes to have as they were delicious.

Still the best after all these years. I frequented this spot for years when I lived in the area, and on a recent trip back, I was reminded why. The quality is just as outstanding as it was seven years ago.
The roasted quails are a must-try, and their pho remains top-tier—rich and flavorful. It’s great to see an old favorite still thriving and serving amazing food.

They have almost every Vietnamese dish on the menu. I ordered ‘bún trộn’ and was satisfied with what I had.

Food is great here but I can’t say the same about the service. The staff was not friendly and I will got some bombastic side eye and hard relentless stares from some patrons who may not like seeing a person like me there. But I’m not going to let that stop me from getting some good food.

Pho Hai Duong, located in Seoul Plaza, offers an authentic Vietnamese culinary experience that will transport you straight to the bustling streets of Vietnam. As a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, I have frequented this restaurant numerous times and it has never failed to impress me.

One of my favorite dishes at Pho Hai Duong is the “com chien bo luc lac,” which is a delicious combination of flavorful beef stir-fried with garlic and fragrant jasmine rice. The beef is tender, succulent, and perfectly seasoned, creating a delightful symphony of flavors. The portion size is generous, making it a satisfying and filling dish that leaves you wanting more.

Another standout dish is the “bun mang vit,” which features tender duck meat cooked with bamboo shoots in a rich and aromatic broth. The noodles are perfectly cooked and soak up the flavors of the broth, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. The dish is garnished with fresh herbs and lime, adding a refreshing touch that enhances the overall experience.

The menu at Pho Hai Duong goes beyond these two dishes, offering a wide range of authentic Vietnamese delights, including their famous pho, banh mi, and traditional Vietnamese desserts. The ingredients used are fresh, and the attention to detail in the
