Reviews
The restaurant environment is clean and pleasant, and the staff were polite, friendly, and professional. The service was good, although it took a bit of time for the food to arrive.
The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is the relatively high price of the pho compared to similar restaurants. While the food quality is excellent, I expected the pricing to be a bit more reasonable. That said, the overall experience was good, and I’d likely return again.
If you’re looking for warm hospitality, friendly service, and a staff that showers you with compliments—well, keep looking. But if you want a bowl of pho so good it makes you forget that the waiter just grunted at you, Pho Ha is your place.
We ordered the #16 pho with rare steak, and let me tell you, that broth was basically a warm hug for our souls. It came with the perfect lineup of mix-ins—bean sprouts, mint leaves, jalapeños, and a fresh lime to squeeze in, plus all the hoisin, Sriracha, and chili paste you need to turn your bowl into a personal spice experiment. The rare steak was tender, the noodles were on point, and the whole thing was the kind of meal that makes you forgive all sins—including the complete lack of customer service.
We also got an order of spring rolls with peanut sauce, which were fresh and tasty, though we had to remind ourselves that dipping them in the pho would probably be frowned upon (not that anyone here would care).
Now, a heads-up: Their credit card machine was down, so thankfully, we had cash. If we hadn’t, we might’ve been washing dishes in the back—assuming they even let us.
The restaurant was busy, but the food came out fast, steaming, and consistently delicious. Bottom line? If you’re willing to trade warm smiles for warm soup, Pho Ha is totally worth it. Just bring cash, and maybe lower your expectations for human interaction.
The food was okay, the soup was okay, but a bit more fatty than what I’m used to.
The service was okay, but they gave us the wrong order and served it to the wrong table. But that was quickly corrected.
There was a sour smell that lingered from the table and dishes. Not sure if that’s from the sanitizer or the cleaning chemicals they use.
Overall, it was an ok place, I’ll give it another try on a later date.
